Hi guys ..new here...loving this game so far......exceeded all my expectations and etc

 

So right now i kinda need help on what to craft now

 

I'm not having trouble with dragons per say ..i killed 3 of them already ( obvious which of the 3 they are)

 

i feel like i'm not doing much damage right now

 

I can tank all day but takes me about 30 minutes to fight the dragons off ;_; i'm on nightmare

 

my 4 man groups are always dorian, cass and blackwall

 

i'm having issues on what to craft for my guy and what recipe and schematics I need

 

do I need to level up a bit more so crafted stuff can scale or just find some unique weapons, armor in the game?

what armor,blades and upgrades do I need for my guy?

Weapons

Runes

etc.

 

 

I have not gone to Emprise,Exalted Plains and Emerald Graves yet...but i did rush down to the hissing waste to get those schematics from the dog merchant

Hissing Wastes: Get the rare T3 dual-blade schematic from one of the tombs (I believe it's the tomb farthest to the SW of the map)

Get lots of Volcanic Aurum from Hissing Wastes or Silverite/Dawnstone from Emprise (easy to farm), craft daggers, profit.

No, the schematics you find depend on the zone, not your level.  My DW rogue had T3 weapons at level 10.  (But with crappy materials)

Aight ... I heard i need stuff like those hidden blade procs and guard on hit stuff too when i craft? How do i get those ? And what rings and amulets do I need so i can dish out more damage ;_;

There's a guaranteed +3 guard on hit (Fade-Touched Obsidian) in Redcliffe behind a locked door.  It requires the Deft Hands, Fine Tools perk to unlock.

 

Hidden Blade proc you can farm from undead and humanoids in Fallow Mire and I think Storm Coast or Crestwood, anywhere they drop Ring Velvet.  Level 10+ enemies, not too tough.

 

Those are the T2 versions.  The T3 versions can all be farmed in Emprise, probably level 16+ is best.

 

The vendor at Crestwood Keep sells some decent blue accessories, better than the grey stuff that drops at low levels.  Purple accessories drop from high-level bosses and you can get some guaranteed ones from the tombs quest in Hissing Wastes.  There's probably more that I haven't found.  I wouldn't stress about accessories too much, they don't make anywhere near as much difference as weapon/armor.
