First and foremost, a couple of things I just feel like mentioning. I've played DA:O, DA2 and now Inquisition. In the first two, I avoided Nightmare difficulty like the black death, mostly because I was, admittedly, afraid of the challenge / difficulty.  I, therefore, have no experience on that difficulty in the other two games.  However, for some reason, I felt like giving it a shot on Inquisition, and I must say that after having played Nightmare difficulty ... I just can't see playing the game any other way.  The combat is refreshing and challenging, and victories actually carry a rewarding feel to them.  I tend to approach each battle, even trash mobs, like a puzzle ... there's a solution to it all, somewhere in my tactical mind, I just have to find it.  Add elevation and cover to the mix, and the terrain surrounding any given battle has never been so important ... it's all just fabulous.

That said, we move on to the main point of this post.  Shield Wall is quite the useful skill, but I've noticed something about it that I just can't see as being deliberate.  If you have your shield wall active, and fall below roughly 25% Stamina, then the skill is grayed out, and you cannot DEACTIVATE it ... meaning that your warriors are now stuck moving at a snail's pace, and cannot effectively intercept *anything* that might have shifted aggro to your DPS classes.  It shouldn't cost stamina to turn the skill off, I don't care if all I can do when I get to the enemy is auto attack, at least I can get to him.  I do at least HOPE that it was an oversight, and not intended this way.

All in all, this game has restored my faith in BioWare. The voice acting is absolutely pristine, even if the characters are terrible in my opinion (I'm looking at you, Cole), their voice actors did marvelous jobs ... except for the Orlesians, because that accent makes me want to murder entire litters of kittens ... except for Leliana, because she's adorable.

Anyway, it's not a gamebreaker, but it is a bit of an annoyance, and I was just hoping someone at BioWare might take notice. Cheers.
