I guess bottom line I want a great voice in my LI as far as personality goes give me someone like Sigrun a personality like that for an LI would be just fine with me  (and if we're getting extra specific I wouldn't mind finally getting a dwarf LI)

I just hate the race gating. For me I love differences between people. I love seeing people who are not of the same race or culture coming together and falling in love. To look beyond the pointy ears,horns or short stature and see an amazing person who is worth falling for. I think this is why the Garrus/Shepard pairing was my absolute favorite.

Love that's felt in the chest. Not the groin, or even the head. But in the chest. Saying "Listen to your heart" sounds damn cheesy, but ever since I read a romance novel where I felt the love between two characters in my chest, and where I felt their love was too, I've stood by that adage. It's been my golden standard for fictional love for several years now. "True love" (egh, I feel storybook just saying it) is beyond physical attraction, circumstance or logical thinking or gender; strip those all away and look at those two beings' very souls. If they belong together, if their indivisible selves are a match, only then should physical attraction and circumstance and thinking be important, only then are those things worth it because they enrich something that's real.
