Despite my obsession for Solas (), I have a soft spot for the friends-to-lovers romance (like Garrus) with little to no drama on the side.

There does seem to be some consensus here.

Dear Bioware,

Male only, Knight in shining armor type of guy. Idealistic, honorable, friendly and fun (Also not the first time I've heard this, at all).

Female Tal Vashoth.

Dwarves,

Dwarves,

Dwarves.

...and a few who might also want a male Mage, as long as he's a dark, reformed, Tevinter antagonist.

Pretty please,

The (Now-renamed) Dwarven love support thread

For the Dwarf fans, does anybody have a strong preference regarding class?

I want to romance a female mage sociopath ( yandere ). Not getting it though because:

1) Bioware won't make a story in which such a companion will make sense. And even if they squeeze it in somehow then comes:

2) Have to take the player character into account, and the player definitely won't be allowed to behave as a person that such a LI would like.

I don't. We've had more rogues (Varric, Sigrun) than warriors but I'm not terribly fussed either way. Dem dwarves do look mighty fine in heavy plate, though, regardless of sex.

Considering that dwarves only have access to two of the three classes, I don't think it would matter much. We've had two warrior companions and a rogue companion twice.

I don't think the class would matter so long as they were romanceable.

Any LI that actually matters in the main story.

Blonde warrior woman who covers new ground, hopefully between Morrigan's "death to kittens" and Cassandra's "Maker blah blah"

I'd prefer warrior to rogue simply because we've had two dwarf rogues and only one dwarf warrior companion so far. I certainly wouldn't kick a dwarf rogue out of bed, though. (Oh, Sigrun and Varric and Harding, why must you all be eternally unobtainable?)

I'd prefer a warrior, personally, because I swoon over a dwarf in plate armor (Legion of the Dead armor......ftw).  However, I could definitely see a situation where Harding is going to show up as the first dwarf romance and she'll be repping the dwarf rogues, so it's all good.

More knights in shiny armor for all genders because it seem they are all straight, Alistair, Sebastian, Aveline, Cassandra, Cullen and so on.

Also more diversity of races and classes for female companions because it is sure lacking.

Slight preference towards warrior, but I wouldn't complain about a rogue, mainly because - as has been stated - we've had one dwarf warrior companion and two dwarf rogues.

A female elven mage that is Yandere towards the protagonist, doesn't matter if the protagonist is male or female they will get her love.

You know what would interest me?

"Long" Answer:

A Qunari Saarebas, that (somehow, explaining how I would imagine that would certainly take too long) is pro Qun. Gender preferably female, Age preferably younger - both as to project a rather fragile Being in Addition to the similarly crippled mental State (induced by the Qunari treatment of their Mages). The Arc could probably concern - so to say - broadening her Perspective.

Short (!) Answer:

Merrill x Ketojan = .

I think the only non-human LI for straight guys was Merrill. That's a bit off.

More racial diversity among the LIs pleeaaase! But especially dorfs. Because dorfs. <3

1)   A blond amber-eyed chivalrous knight in shining armour.  For men only.  Just to break the pattern we have running.  I don't count Anders since he's hardlly chivalrous by the end, and he's not a knight and he's completely crazy.

Oh, and Abelas too.  I have the sneaking suspicion he'll be returning as a companion//someone prominent in DA4.  This is Thedas, after all.  Those touched by the hands of Gods seem to have knack for running into each other...

Iron Bull, but totally sweet and gentlemanly on the sly. And without quite so many lines all over his face. He already looks rugged, what's the need?

And yes, it's about time there was a gay, or at least bi, white knight type.

The armor doesn't necessarily have to be shiny. I'd be completely fine with some dents and stains too, if everything else is well done. And an awesome beard is a must, as well as a skill tree, revolving around it. Like Blackwall's beard is able to drive the darkspawn back into the deep roads by its own.

Give me tall dark and handsome (human, preferably, but elf will do, too) with biting wit and sarcasm and a bit of a chip on his shoulder (without making him a complete jerk to everyone). We will need to figure out the reason for why he hates the world and help him deal with whatever it is. His romance should take a while to form but when it's there, it's scorching.

I would never go for someone like that IRL, to be honest, but hey, it'd be fun in a game!
