More f/f options in general would be good, especially ones who are confident, mature adults. Most f/f romances in the DA series have felt awfully young to me, even Leliana. Sera was not my type at all, but I do appreciate the effort to branch out beyond the "naive girl-next-door" archetype (even if she still acts super young wow is she ever a teenager). Isabela is basically perfect, especially on the friendship path: confident, independent, funny, and reluctant to change. I like Cass for being insecure at times, occasionally having doubt, but for ultimately being unshakeably loyal and honest. Plus she's socially awkward and is fun to tease, and she can be surprisingly easygoing, but she's also incredibly passionate...

 

Yeah no I just want someone like Cass who also likes girls. That's it, that's my list.

Give me tall dark and handsome (human, preferably, but elf will do, too) with biting wit and sarcasm and a bit of a chip on his shoulder (without making him a complete jerk to everyone). We will need to figure out the reason for why he hates the world and help him deal with whatever it is. His romance should take a while to form but when it's there, it's scorching.

What i would have liked for such a LI is not healing them but earning their respect. It would be good if that character challenged your ability to lead, act and solve problems. I think i pretty much described an evilish cross between Sten and Morrigan.

A beautiful human female mage. Shy yet kind and from a very powerful family in Tevinter (like the Couslands in Fereldan) Focuses on spirit/healing magic as opposed to more aggressive magic or blood magic and is not at all like the typical Tevinter noble (like Dorian) Bred for perfection (like Miranda Lawson). Looks like Morrigan (dark hair, pale skin, lots of eyeliner). Innocence like Liara (from Mass effect 1) and cute sassyness like Tali (from Mass Effect 2+3).

 

Her arc would revolve around initially being a simply kind and shy healing mage who is (insert reason she is not currently in Tevinter) and slowly turn into your romance sparking her family to pledge alligence to you and begin a massive civil war to bring Change to Tevinter (won't get into all the details on how i would like to see it all play out)

Bishop was and always will be my favorite Bioware romance. I'd love to see more romanceable villains, more of a chance to be the villain.
Edit: I have been informed Obsidian did NWN2 and not Bioware. My life is a sham.

Its just they are all good, even if they feel ambiguous at the start they are all always good by the end - atoning for past sins, learning from their mistakes, seeking forgiveness. I just want someone nasty who is happy to be nasty, or at least comfortable being nasty.
And not like Sera nasty because she is harmless. I would like to watch my back for a change.

despite being enamored with you. Dude had a lot of charisma and that was a fun, tragic romance that felt complete despite being mostly cut. I liked showing up with Gann while Bishop was... inconvenienced. He got so pissy!

Yeah, that was one of the most powerful scenes in MotB if you pursued this wreck of a romance. I also loved the fact that he just accepts the 'inconvenience', instead of moping how he should have changed his actions.

And I'll stop before I derail the thread with Bishop love.

Definitely not looking for one who tends to be broody and dwells on his past constantly. I prefer romances that develop naturally and slowly, starting as friends and leading to something more. Sometimes the pacing feels off with Bioware's romances. I actually wouldn't mind seeing a romance that doesn't really start until the end of the game, but with some sweet and flirty moments along the way.

I guess Sebastian counts (even though he had no LI cutscenes), but I want more!

Isabela's hair is brown. Darker brown than what you're getting at, I think, but definitely brown and not black.

Sebastian never counts for anything. And Alistair was a bit gingery.

 

But it would be nice for them not to rely on blonde and black/off-black hair for characters in the future. Also, it's weird that they favorite dark hair so much, yet you can't make an Inquisitor with black hair this time. It just comes out a weird dark grey-blue.
