Seriously, where are the longsword schematics? I have masterworks for every weapon class but for whatever reason my best one-hander is still that one axe I got from the War Table. Where can i get some schematics for longswords I can slap flame runes to?

Must be luck. I'm still pretty early in the game and I've found a Wave Sword schematic (tier 2). It's got the frost rune I crafted as part of getting to know Skyhold attached to it.

I haven't seen a masterwork longsword in my 65 hour play through. I found one tier 3 sword (Dwarven longsword) and I exploited the 'chest respawn' trick like mad. The best one handed weapon I found was an axe. Kinda bummed about it.

Easily the best one-handed weapon I found during 80+ hours was a 295 dps axe at the end of a chain of war table operations. I would've wanted to use a sword, but the Wave Sword was the best schematic I found and any longsword drops were all below 150 dps. The axe was obviously really good, but it's just not as cool as a sword.

 

A schematic for the almost greatsword-esque longsword Cassandra has in cutscenes would've been nice, it's probably the best looking sword in the game.

Only thing i got towards end was a single handed axe schematic that was very powerful(serpent blade?)

Would have preferred a sword one though.

I get lots of swords and staffs. But not the really useful stuff.

 

I have no tier 2 armor recipes, at all.

The axe is serpent's rage, that is the best ive seen so far... for one handed weapons, dwarven longsword for the swords, and that really falls short of the axe.... would have liked to have the inquisitor's sword (the one we execute with and hold up when we are given the title of inquisitor), either as a unique or a schematic....

The best one handed I've found is an mastercrafted axe scematic that when made with good materials upgrades and runes has over a 300 dps.

Looking at the list seems the majority of Teir 3 masterwork weapons are found in the hissing wastes.
