I will have to go Templar side again in my next playthrough and actually pay attention to this guy, it sounds like he's even more interesting than I thought! Even in the parts I did see he was pretty cool and badass.

It'd be great to have seen Ser Barris at Skyhold especially if he could converse with some of our companions. To see him talk with Dorian, Cole, or Solas that would've been great. I would just stand back and enjoy the interactions. 

 

However, he could not. He was too busy hunting down demons and protecting the people. He had some of the best war table operations.

Exactly. Doubtful that the mage war table missions could equal all the great ones that feature Ser Barris.

Personally I'd give Barris a Variation of Meredith's armor

hearing my inquisitor say "you are promoted to Knight-Commander of ou templars" And "rise Knight-Commander Barris" was one of the best moments in the game.
And in the epilogue, Morrigan saying the templars by unanimous decision decided to stay in the Inquisition warmed my heart, their loyalty to the Inquisition is something beautiful.

its underwhelming and i prefer magi its basically doing templar work. The "real" work... kinda regret it so much whining.

Yeah, it was definitely my favorite judgment sub plot cut scene.

 

I enjoyed learning about the fate of the templars from the epilogue too. Templars are in good hands when they have a leader like Ser Barris who serves as a great example of what a Templar should strive to be.

I wanted to ask her about my warden, sadly she leave soo soon, and after her cameo, I feel no need to continue a mage playthrough
