They still don't possess any actual cause to attack the mages, because the Nevarran Accord was still in effect when the mages seceded.

Lambert's severing of the accords was just the formality to match the reality of the situation, the accords were broken when the Chantry allowed the mages to go

The Nevarran Accord was not in effect because the Divine allowed the mages to secede. Their role is to protect the outside world from magic. As far as they're concerned, the mages are running wild and it's their job to stop them. And it is.

It really is, but honestly he wouldn't be nearly as cool if he wasn't doing **** and just stood around skyhold offering nothing.

Yup. Well, they could've made him like Scout Harding. I mean, we met Harding in all new camps & she surely been everywhere. Still, she's there in Skyhold. He could've just dropped to Skyhold a few times between him traveling everywhere.

Yes, you can put people on ignore from the hover menu over their username, from their profile, and from your profile under Ignore Options. Use it liberally, Ignore does wonders for the overall quality of the forums.

Btw, this may be dark souls influence but when i saw him with the tower shield i couldn't help but think of my best friend's character there, slaying demons while using his tower shield to block just about anything. Though I would never send Barris to the Souls world, he deserves better
