The look on a Magister's face the first time they have to face down a real Templar instead of the tarted up thugs they're used to...
We get that from a war table mission already; you don't even need to side with the templars.

I wasn't aware that war table missions came with cutscenes or facial expressions. I actually want to SEE it.

Text speaking of facial expressions, at least.

Hmm, I don't recall it. Do you remember which mission?

Tevinter Resistance. Have Cullen send aid to the Magisters that are rebelling in the Magisterium.

If that's the one I'm thinking of, I went all diplomatic. I'll have to try Cullen's way next time.

Yes, that one. It specifically mentions deploying the Inquisition's ex-templars because of their powers.

Is that the one where Mae sends Cullen a scented handkerchief?

Just wondering for those that finished the game, what epilogues did you for the templars?
Asking since I want to have that awesome cinematic where I make Barris Knight Commander in my 2nd playthrough but I also would like for the Templars to remain with the Inquisition.

I made them allies of the Inquisition and I got the slide where many chooses to stop taking lyrium and join the Seekers of truth
Good. That's the ending I'm shooting for then.I made them allies of the Inquisition and I got the slide where many chooses to stop taking lyrium and join the Seekers of truth

I disbanded the Templars and (once again) I'll be gunning for Cassandra (as a love interest, I've heard that it effects the epilogue) as the Divine. My Inquisitor is also a mage and usually sides with them if doesn't involve the Imperium. I'm waiting for the xbone patch though so it might be a while before I can give you guys my results.

Templars conscripted and Cullen continues taking Lyrium: that templars decided by unanimous decision to remain in the Inquisition. Thet formed the core of the Inquisition army
I think I like this outcome best
Wait, who in hell would enable Cullen's addiction that he's desperately trying to escape?

because he has moments where he also wants to go back to it, his confrontation with Cassandra comes to mind.
I like breaking him of the habit, but I also like keeping the templars around in the Inquisition
Yeah, I doubt I'm ever going to go the "start taking lyrium again, Cullen" route, myself. Just can't do that to him. Not when there are other people willing and able to take up that burden for him.

Yeah, I basically deferred to Cassandra on that one. She's the de facto leader until the exodus to Skyhold. I guess this is what causes them to become Seekers instead of Templars.

Just promoted Ser Barris....
Two good screens.
Spoiler
How am I missing this? Do you have to conscript the Templars rather than ally with them?

You have to finish a series of wartable missions where Ser Barris vanquishes evil-doers.

I conscripted the templars but I don't see any missions for Barris. When does it appear story mission wise?

I got them right after going to skyhold. Also, the titles on the missions won't say anything about Barris. You'll actually have to read the mission text to know that you'll be sending Barris. I think theirs three of them.
Champions of the Just finished on my mage!

Now the real struggle begins... deciding between Josie and Cass
pls help
Does anyone know what do do next once player get the promotion quest to make him Knight commander?
I complete all his operations but I can't interact with the throne to promote him.
Does this require players to first complete a certain Main Story mission first or reach a certain Inquisition rep level?
