trying to figure out which bow grip is better a 18cun 18dex grip or a 21% crit dmg, crit chance grip....

 

the prior gives me a little more crit dmg (like 5%), about 8% more attack %, but about 7% less crit chance.

It's your decision.

 

Personally I always chose more armor and protection, no matter what. With less damage dealing the fights are longer, but I survive.

 

How did you set up your character?

 

You have to evaulate how much attack power (action) your character can handle.

Depends on your playing style. An archer is not a tank a have to rely on distance, protection and tactics. Just like in real life.

I would chose Cunning and Dexterity.

The two grips offer about the same amount of damage output, so you should go with the first grip which offers some ranged defense on top of its damage output.
