Well, if Morrigan is Flemeth's biological child [which I know there's some speculation as to whether or not she is], she probably gets it from mom. Flemeth doesn't look too shaby for a woman in her...ancients.

Cullen is in his early thirties-ish, but he looked 40 in DA:O/DA2 imo   What's with BIoware and their reverse puberties...

Wasn't Morrigan supposed to be in her late teens during DA:O? That'd make her only 30-31 at this point right?

 

Yeah, I kind of got the feeling that both Morrigan and the Warden were about 18-19 in Origins. Alistair has also got confirmed to be 20 so he should be 30 in this game.

I always assumed its because she's slowly being replace with porcelain.  That would explain why she can barely make any facial expressions beyond the occasional sneer.

Witch Hunt only takes place like a year after Awakening.

Depends on which Warden I suppose. The average age people place them is 25 but some of them lean towards younger: Magi and City Elf wardens lean towards late teens since they involve coming of age ceremonies like the Harrowing and betrothal. I think it was mentioned that Bethany's 19 was average/somewhat late and Jowan moans about being older by possibly years and not getting his. Harrowing yet.

Assuming the City Elf and Magi are 18 on average then by Inquisition they'd be about 28, which is much younger than either Leliana or Morrigan and slightly lagging behind Alistair.

Considering unless you're a Dwarf Noble, there's a very high chance game wise you're in your late teens during DA:O, and the fact that Witch Hunt is like a year after Awakening, not really.

Kind of getting tired of people saying, "So and so looks great for their age!" and then cite that said person is in their 30's or 40's. 30's and 40's are not old. You don't suddenly turn decrepit after 29. lol, I don't know anyone who looks old or terrible in these age ranges.

I agree and disagree. I think hard living can catch up with you in your late 30s and in your 40s. I mean, I've seen some 40 year olds look great. I've also seen some look terrible.

40 isn't decrepit by any stretch, but if you've been rode hard and put up wet, you can easily look a decade or two older.

Go volunteer at a VA hospital. A lot of those guys look way older than their age because their bodies were abused.

I don't think Cassandra looks bad. I think she actually looks great for a 40 year old that's spent most of her life having a physically demanding career.

The problem with Cass, I think, is they made her look 28 or so in DA2 (which was fine, since she didn't have any backstory then.). But after they made DotS, I think someone realized, "Crap, we need to make her look like 10 years older because her current age doesn't make sense."

So the change from DA2 to DAI is kinda weird, but again, I don't think she looks bad for how old she is supposed to be now.

Yeah, she looks like she must've chain smoked. All those lines around her mouth! She looks 55.

I didn't know the whole backstory and initially I was like, "Wow! Pretty cool of Bioware to put in a lesbian relationship with older women! You don't see that too often!" Then I found out Celene was supposed to be in her 30s. Whoops.

Leliana looks very....weird to me this game, too ... face-lifted or botoxed. (although to be fair, that's an animation problem with the majority of the characters in this game....immovable eyebrows and brows even in extreme emotional situations)

 

First playthrough I kept expecting her to take off her face and show us it was just a mask.

Well to be fair she has nothing on Cullen: I swear that guy ages backwards since he seems to actually get more attractive/defined with every gam he's in. Next thing you know he loses the few wrinkles he has. In DA2 he actually looked sunken which I attributed to stress and lyrium, but here he's even more stressed and suffering from withdrawal but attractive enough to attract the attention of 9 women and six men in the winter palace.

I don't think that's it. It's just a redesign. Leliana, for instance, is also around the same age as Cassandra.

I'd put Cass 36 at youngest. 39 at oldest.

Leliana, 33-36

 

To be honest, Leliana looks the youngest of the three. She even looks younger than Cullen, who is confirmed to be 30 but I don't think Lels was 20 in Origins. 23 at youngest. She was born in Orlais, after the occupation. She says this when you first meet her in Origins.
