Taking for granted the future patch that hopefully settle the game in many of its parts, would you pay for an improved edition of the game maybe a year from now?

Where perhaps there may be new opportunities for choices of gameplay, an addition of dialogues, new spells, new classes, new romance, new quests.

The work done on the DAI does not deserve support for at least another year and a half, to make it a memorable game for Bioware?

Assuming for a new Dragon Age we should wait at least another 4-5 years, if not more so given that there will also be the new Mass Effect in the meantime.

What do you think ???

No! If CDPR can do it as a free upgrade why should I pay EA for it?

Why not all are called CDPR :)

Anyway I speak of additions and substantial improvements, where part of the programmers Bioware are solely dedicated to improving everything possible again following the feedback of its loyal fans.

New areas, new items, improving inventory and interface .. and so on :)

I fear that in a few months, the game will be left and that Bioware will be dedicated exclusively to the new Mass Effect when this DAI with some changes in most could become really a masterpiece.

You already know that for a new Dragon Age we should wait 5-6 years minimum, if it ever comes out ... right?

Example:

DAI Enchented Edition -> full price or for those who have already taken the game earlier, 50% discount on the same.

But I speak of a true support, with improvements evident.

Unless you mean an Ultimate Edition, with all DLC, then no.

I would, however, happily pay for any DLC and Expansions under the condition they are up to scratch with the base game and not just pointless cash-ins.

If such cash-ins are just extra armors and such, I would seriously consider buying them first, dependant on two factors - how much content, and what is the quality of the content, and what is the price.

Would I personally? Nah, it's very rare for me to buy the same game twice - Enhanced or No.

Would they make one? For An Ultimate Edition, it'd be a good idea to include whatever they choose to patch, along with extra goodies.

Generally with origin you can buy an "upgrade to ultimate" or "Upgrade to collectors" so you can get all the preorder kit without having had to preorder.

I would imagine the living cost is different between America and Poland, so maybe development cost is cheaper? l don't know. And besides, it's 2 different companies and different policy as well as different games. You can't expect the same thing from every game company.

No sorry, but I definitely would pay the price plus extra for a enhanced version of Origins.

Most certainly.

I'm immensely enjoying the current version of Inquisition, even with its annoying problems. I can only imagine how much joy an enhanced edition would bring me. :)

I note that my question stems from a premise:

1) I'm sure Bioware will not follow in the footsteps of CDPR from this point of view.
2) I'm afraid that the game after a couple of patches to be completely abandoned.
3) It is not secure the release of any DLC.
4) For the next Dragon Age will take years (not repeat the mistake of Dragon Age 2).
5) This could be with some changes and added a game really splendid. With a good replay value (with a New Game + option ???; D)

Would I pay even more money to get the game I should have gotten a month ago?  Is this some kind of joke?  I'm angry that I paid for the game currently, I'm sure as hell not going to pay more money...

Definitely NOT. It should be provided free as a reward for supporting/buying the game in the first place.

Perhaps if the PC version of this game was shipped as advertised originally, then I may take a different opinion, but I am NOT paying extra for them to actually COMPLETE a game.

CDProject RED gets this. They understand that supporting and caring for their fans is a future investment. This is why I will not hesitate to buy their next game.

But after this PR disaster from Bioware....guess what, I am not paying for anything from them again unless the feedback is absolutely positive.

Only if it adds new content, not if it alters/adds to existing content. Not going to replay the game just for a new dungeon somewhere in the Hinterlands. However expanion packs that adds playable content and also adds new features (improved tactics, alter appearance after start, etc) are welcome.

Just wait!  Dragon Age: Origins: Enhanced.

So enhanced you won't even need that pesky tactics menu (because it won't exist).

So enhanced you'll need a controller to play it (because PC controls/UI will be terrible).

So enhanced you'll swear you were playing DA:I.

So let's say you were to buy a car that is made "by drivers for drivers", a real jewel and pay premium for it. You get it and find out that it only has 3 gears, no windows, half a steering wheel, doesn't go where you want it to go but it can jump. How do you feel about

paying again to get the one that has 2 seats and a steering wheel and keep the wreck as well? Awesome offer right :)

Where do you people come from?

Dubya certainly gets it...one would hope more fans would get it too. Have some dignity and self-restraint people. DO NOT pay for someting EXTRA that was supposed to be delivered to you in FULL when you FIRST BOUGHT it. This only encourages EA/Bioware to repeat this behaviour the next time around. If you think that as consumers of such products we deserve a game that is in full working condition and fulfills advertising expectations instead of this bait and switch tactic we have fallen for time and time again, then STOP pre-ordering games, DO NOT pay for DLCs that include fixes/content that were supposed to be included in the game to begin with and WAIT for user reviews before deciding whether a game is worth your money or not.

I already feel ripped,  having bought at full price for not, but the game, and now seeing deals with all DLC's for the same price I payed. Makes me rather leary of paying any more, at this time.

And considering also that they will probably release a Stash patch for a price soon. Which should have been in the game to begin with. I just feel a little jilted right now.

I'd probaply rather wait for patches and buy DLC's that I want. I have Ultimate edition of DAO but only because it was on sale.. ten dollars I think? Sth like that ^^

With this kind of attitude, they're soon gonna charge us for patches ad well.... ;)

Seriously, if we were talking about a real extended pack ( like DA awakening ), then I can buy it. But judging over shape of previous DLCs- nooo... This idea sounds like another method of draining players' cash. I really hate the idea of paid DLCs released just to make money and the only one I bought was Witch hunt because. .. come on, it's about Morrigan ;)

Were ppl brainwashed by EA or something. After the game was out i looked in the forum and saw more and more "make X dlc" as time went on. And now this..

Stop throwing money at them. Stop giving them ideas. If the game lacks something add it for free as it should have been there in the first place. CDPR gets it.

The cut scenes in Witcher 3 look awesomely jaw hanging, especially that one with the 3 hags/witches.  Not usually a Witcher fan, I am very much drawn to this one.
