To me most underrated spell is Wall of Fire. No friendly fire, cheap, meaty damage, perma locks some of the most deadly enemies, utter protection from melee enemies...

Underrated Passive: Mercy Killing, rogue Subtrefuge tree. Well, if you combo and arrange your party for powerful combos you can find your rogues constantly dealing critical hits. Permanent critical crits with some effort? So damn powerful, and seems people ignore it

Underrated Active skill? Dispell with draw with Shield Block - Dispell is low CD eldritch detonator which useful 90% of time (removing enemy barriers, mines, effects, also great use with some AOE FF not friendly abilities ), Shield block is better than , lol, most of guard generating skill,s if you control character directly, since it have so short animation, you can fight and block in same time just by having right timing to block enemie's blow, switching it off again and making your strike - like real fight. IT provides so much guard.

Fade Step + Passive is so damn awesome. I will use it sometimes JUST to have fun steering through enemies for damage xD

I love the new iteration of Whirlwind though it can be a bit fussy to time it/manage the stamina early on.

Also love the new taunts - always disliked how crummy the taunts felt in prior Dragon Age games - in this one, they feel like SERIOUS taunts and really pull the enemies off my squishy arse :D

On a related note, does anyone find that while the AI can be kind of dumb with positioning (Really Sera? You're MOVING towards the 2H warrior?) the AI that drives the skill use seems pretty robust? While the loss of more complex tactics controls is noticeable, just setting up escape skills/aggro grabbing skills as preferred and arranging the rest as normal really seems to let my party do some pretty great work w/o much micromanaging on my part, especially my tank.

Focus ability from Assassination - Cloak. You have no idea how fast you can drop any boss during cloak + MoD.

If only I could pick just 1.......

Underratted Warrior Passive: Warriors's Resolve for W/S tree gives 10% stamina for 10% health loss. Stamina conversion applies to both barrier and active guard lost in addition to normal health lost. Said skill with Shield Wall vanguard is just a big waste of points in my eyes imo.

Underratted Rogue Ability: Knockout Powder w/ passive for rogues its like Fighting Dirty from Origins on Steriods. Its an frontal aoe puts affected enemies out of the fight 20s and the cooldown 20s. Just an all-around great utility skill for controlling fights.

Underratted Mage Passive: Ice Armor 50% flat damage reduction if used with Ice Wall upgrade and KE your invincible.

If I had to pick one... its Horn of Valor with upgrade... +50% damage for the entire party. Use an +30% duration ring and you get 13/18s uptime.
