Hey all!

 

So I have been playing Dragon Age with a 360 wired controller on my PC and it works pretty perfect.

 

Well I happened to have  PS4 and I prefer using the PS4 controller over the 360 one just because it feels better in my hands. Now my issue is not getting the PS4 controller to work, I did download all the driver support stuff and the mapping stuff, so the controller works fine.

 

My question is, is it possible to change the button display in game? Like for example it might pop up and say "Press A" (with a green circle around it like the 360 controller) to loot. Instead I'd rather have it say "Press X" to loot and have the PS4 controller button instead of the 360 one. Is this possible? Or do these games only directly support 360 controllers in terms of showing which button to press?

 

It might seem like a very miniscule issue to just have the display of which button to press be changed but hey I figure I'd ask if anyone has got it to work that way.

Short answer? No. It can be done but the amount of work required just isn't worth it. Common sense here dude, it's part of the game design. People can't even get mods going with this engine.
