It's very easy to see a Trevelyan, mage or not be against the chantry or not andrastian. How many people in America alone grew up in christian households only to resent it later in life/become atheist or something else.
This. So much this. I was having a blast with atheist Trevelyan, telling everyone no one sent me and Maker doesn't exist.
In the end I shouted it even at Cory. It was awesome.
