Been doing rounds with prestiging every character again, when I come to the reaver, I feel discouraged.

Nearly every match I have it bug out. There are times when i will make it to the final boss room, Activate it, intending to tear the boss apart, only for it to not work. This is happened twice in the past 3 games.

Once that happens, I don't feel like playing. Sure maybe i can blow my warhorn once in a while... but If i want to do real damage? Heh.. yeah.. won't happen.

I'm just not sure what causes it to bug out. I never really die..I usually just play on threatening with reaver. If i do die, it's cause I expected rampage to work but it didn't. Nowadays I hardly activate rampage and dragon-rage for fear of them not working when I really will need them to.

I'm really hoping this will be fixed soon, otherwise I won't truly be happy with the Reaver, which has immense potential as I'm sure everyone knows.

I believe the bug occurs when you are simultaneously being hit by different sources as you are rampaging attacking and healing yourself. It is as if the game can not handle determining the amount of damage you are taking as well as the healing on top of calculating the attack bonus you get from the health loss. Too much going on so the game says f**k it, math is hard.

I like the reaver but haven't prestige yet because of this. Level 17.

This might just be a lucky run or it might be a factor, but on my 4th play through with the reaver over the weekend I took the passive Bear Mauls the Wolves when I hit level 17.  I never once got the rampage glitch afterwards from level 17-20 and then promoted her again. 

 

It doesn't mean anything.  Or it might mean something.   I have had runs where I can go hours without getting the glitch and then I can have runs where I get glitched every game it seems like.  I will be taking Bear Mauls the Wolves on this go around as well and I'm going to sprint to it this time around to see if it really does make a difference.

 

Am I seriously the only one noticing that it happens when you take damage from multiple different sources while attempting to heal yourself with the skill?  I'm hoping that this passive is the answer b/c it gives you immunity to flanking damage and helps with some of the math the game has to do while you are being hit.  Probably just wishful thinking.

That's good to know.

 

Do you notice that you only get it when you are hit by multiple different enemies while you are attacking with rampage active?  Or do you think something else is the trigger?

I only know it happens a lot when dying with rampage on, but it has only happened to me 2-3 times when still standing in perilous, so I can't be sure what the trigger is for that. I'm inclined to believe that the game just gave up as you described because its at least a good story, more than I can say about the game.

 

I do know that the inability to heal from rampage can sometimes fix itself when due to dying with rampage on. I'm not sure, but I think what can sometimes fix it is if you stop using rampage for a certain amount of time, like 30 seconds, afterwards it might work again.

The first time I experienced the bug I was stunned as I was turning on Rampage and it never worked again.  Cause?  Coincidence?  No idea.

my reaver is still lvl 18 whitout even prometing once because i rampage my keyboard every time i try to use the skill and its bugged!

The glitch occurs when you go down while rampage is active. The class is not useless otherwise I would not be wiping rooms on Threatening in less than 10 seconds solo.

You can get the rampage bug without ever going down. I know this for a fact.

my only comment, if any class is 100% dependant on any single skill, the class itself is pointless.  we should probably be complaining more about the fact that, apparently, reaver can not function if rampage isn't taken/working.

Die with Rampage on and it glitches. I am told hard CC's on you cause this as well.
