Just a loose thread for the loremasters out there, since things like this jab at my subconscious until they're put to rest.

It seems distinctly odd to take up codex slots with what could just as easily have been mouseover text in game.   Would these have resolved into something coherent if I had found more of them?  If the Inquisitor's int had been higher?  If I'd explored a different line of conversation with Solas at some point?  Or is it just oddly prominent but ultimately useless "flavor"?

I've wondered about that. I kept thinking that I had missed something, but I was in a bit of a hurry to get to the Well at that point, heh.

Have you tried using the Well and looking at the Codex entries again?

AHAAAA.

Two playthroughs, both had Morrigan drink.  That's fantastic, though- thanks for the tip!   (Anyone have the translations hanging around to save me a third game?)

While I'm begging for lore scraps:  does the well give any further insights w/r/t the Fen'Harel statue at the temple?  Or is that just there as a random but necessary trigger for a Solas info dump?

I remember seeing screenshots of the translated codex entries. There's a lot of fascinating (but not very understandable) stuff about mythal and the elven gods. Something about mythal refusing to intervene on the behalf of a follower of Dirthamen who committed high treason by transforming into something he shouldn't have? And then him being taken to Elgar'nan for judgement or something. Can't remember where I found them anymore.
