Sometimes explanation is much simplier than you think. Personally, i think there is so many bald people in DAI because Frostbite sucks at hair. Just look at character that have hair - it's ugly. Sera's haycock or Blackwall's brush instead of beard - it's equally ugly.

I get it, they want to be "woo progressive!" but enough is enough. The extent that they've gone to in DAI eschews reality completely and makes things appear fantasy-like! 

This aspect of the game is jarring and the fact that not one, not two but THREE of our companions fall into this category is a sign of liberal propaganda gone too far.

Bull actually says not having horns is a sign of being destined for greatness. The Current Arishok doesn't have horns. Ergo that Arishok will probably be a companion in the next installment.
