The "wyverns" in this quest really bug me. For one, they don't look like wyverns. There are wyverns already in-game in a Crestwood cave that look like the wyverns from DA2. Why was this model not used instead of gurguts? Gurguts are not stated to be wyverns or even related to them. Wyverns are resistant to lightning, while gurguts are weak to it. Wyverns live in the mountains, and gurguts (as far as I've seen) live in swampier lowlands.
Even if they are related and it's never stated, I was disappointed that the ridiculous-looking gurguts of all things were used. A white dragonling would have worked, a straight up wyvern would have been better, and I was expecting something like the alpha from DA2 with something that distinguished it from its cousins besides its white hide. Instead I got a gurgut who needed a tan and was slightly healthier than its buddies. It didn't even have different resistances. Granted, I had put off this quest for awhile because I was focused on other things, so I was a higher level than it. That probably made the fight a bit more disappointing. But it still doesn't make sense.
