I finished my Inquisition play through after 78 hours. I can't decide if making a few different choices along the way is worth replaying Inquisition again. You shape the world of Thedas but the way it's handled makes it feel extremely underwhelming.

The entire Mage Templar War is taken care of in one mission. The entire Orlesian Civil War is taken care of in one mission. There's no reason to build up your Inquisition. It doesn't matter how many strongholds and allies you have. Power points are the only thing you're ever going to need. You spend countless hours gathering allies and building up your Inquisition into a mighty power that influences all of Thedas! So what's the grand finale after all of that? One easy boss battle with Corphyeus. Lol that's it?! Even Dragon Age 2 had a better final mission than that!

Good question, and one I've been struggling with too. I've done one completion play through that took 140 hours, and honestly, replaying DAO, DA2, or even Skyrim is sounding more appealing right now. Other than the Cullen romance, which I waited years for, everything in DAI was quite meh for me. I'm quite sad about it. :/

That's really up to you, if you feel as if the story choices make it not worth playing again, then by all means.

For me I am going to replay it because I thought it was fun.

Right now, I'd wait for updates and DLCs. Try doing different world states on the Keep as well. It will change some of the background conversations as well as the party banters. Just take your time. Don't need to rush in like your first playthrough.

You know, I'd give a lot to have the combat of DA2 in DAI With the tactical screen of course. I just started my second play-through, and man, am I dragging. Been thinking about the action of ME2 or going back to Skyrim with some new mods and trying some of the high level player created content.

I've tried. I can't do it. There's too much filler content that I honestly can't be bothered to do again. I did just complete another origins and da2 run though.

You know, this is a good idea. Thank you for reminding me that I can change the background story. Think I'll stop and change the story and reroll my second play through.

For me, it definitely is.

But I enjoy fiddling with worldstates, race/gender combos, making different decisions, picking different dialogue options, and getting to know the companions from a different perspective.

Am I dwelling on the somewhat lackluster final battle? No. But, just judging from my experiences with first playthroughs in the other games in the series, I know I miss a lot my first time through. I would never have gotten to know Sten, Zevran, Fenris, or Isabela if I never did multiple playthroughs.

On the other hand, in DAI, I've focused less on having a completionist game my first several times through, and more on plot/characters/worldstate, so I still haven't run out of new things to do yet.

Yeah. I'm on my second playthrough with a different character and even though I'm not that far yet I've already noticed differences and changes that keep me playing with the dialogue trees and mixing up my companions to get new content. It's been really fun!

Also, its really nice to go through the game again from a different perspective. Getting caught up with all the foreshadowing, particularly when talking with Solas and hearing his banter is pretty cool.

What did Dragon Age Origins have? They gave you a neat gimmick for the final mission, but you could easily beat the whole thing without ever using it. Where's really the point of doing evil stuff like going with the werewolves or with the golems when you simply do not need them? Roleplaying, that's what, and it's the same with Inquisition.

Dragon Age Inquisition is easily worth playing at least twice because of the different main quests you get, whether you go with the mages or the templars.

You hit the nail on the head for me. The combat design is my most disliked thing in DAI, and every time I think of having to slog through hours of it again, I lose my nerve to start a new character. *sigh*

I am on my fourth play through (on a couple I completed not doing everything) and still finding differences.  Stuff said depending on your race and your what you ask and for your Hawke quest you can have three different people with Hawke depending on your choices.  I say there is replay with this game.

I have one completion, one that's on the last bit, and 4 starts. The one on the last bit is a Hard, and the 4 starts are all Nightmare, with different classes/genders/romances in mind. It's hard to get all the banters, and do all the stuff in one run, so I'm finding that it is worth replaying.

I finished the game once. Solved all sidequests if it matters, but didn't make all collections (an area is bugged to get all regions, upon killing a certain draco, the cave didn't open so I can't get two mosaic pieces, and I missed one bottle somewhere - didn't spam V enough).

I would love to replay the game. Honestly, to see what happens on different choices.

But to put myself through endless respawns torture again?!

Not in this lifetime. If they patch the game in a way it removes grinding, I'll fire it up. If not... Well... There are proper RPGs out there without everspawning trashmobs all over the place.

I say it only good to play through 2 time since mage Path and Templar Path provides a different antagonist working under Corytheus.

Only question left is what happened to that other antagonist since the game hints he or she is still alive some where else while still serving as the leader for the surviving Venatori and Red Templars after Corytheus death.

Guess they may answer that question in a DLC Storyline

YMMV, but no farming schematics, dragons dropped good loot, no farming for my specialization, just as poignant changes, characters that didn't feel like an after school special trying to teach me some moral lesson, healing, tactics and generally more choices to create a character plus oh a toolset that offers a few hundred mods.

As for replaying DAI, ive tried. Can't get past the chargen screen when I start thinking about farming for armor schematics.

For me, the fun and challenging combat system is mostly what drags me back in seeing how incredible short and lackluster the endgame was.

I agree to extent.  I'm going through runs with characters like a run with Iron Bull or Sera as a DW rogue or Sera as a Tempest archer.  Or Cole as Archer which I haven't tried yet.  Next thing I'm doing is continuing my DW rogue with maybe varric.

Before I replay it I'm going to wait for some patches (BANTER BUG) and hopefully a story DLC.

100 hours for my first playthrough; that's enough for now.

I finally finished my first play through and I'm already working on my newest character. Very excited to go a different route with my character's dialog options after playing a 99% noble, level-headed dalish mage.

Time to get my sarcastic feux-Andrastian human going.

And to kill a certain champion.

Going into this new play through completely unsure of who I will be romancing either. So that should be fun.

Finished my first playthrough and started a second one, but to traipse round all the MMORPG-like isle locations a second time is very dull. I wish the world would be a single continent like in Skyrim.

Having trouble finishing my first playthrough let alone starting a second one. I don't know what has happened to BW games since ME2. Somehow the world seems really bland.

Started downloading Divnity: Original Sin that game has more character. Maybe if they would update the terrible PC controls, I would try again.

Already on my second playthrough and planning a third. I want to try different classes and romances, as well as different decisions in the main storyline and companion quests.
