I'm finding that Inquisition is going to be one of those games I come back to every few months and play again, just like its predecessors and the Mass Effect games. I've started a second play through, but I lack the motivation to continue it after about 20 hours.

I'm on the cusp of finishing my first run (just have one more region to dig into and two more dragons to kill before I tackle the end of the main quest), but I'm already thinking about my second playthrough. I'm going to be a different race and class, (probably male Dalish or Qunari Tempest) and try to use all new companions.

Emphasis on the *try*, because Cole, Dorian and Bull are so perfect together it hurts. But if I decide to romance Cassandra, that'll throw a wrench into my triumvirate. We'll see.

I could see myself going Rogue and using Dorian, Cass and Iron Bull as Support Mage, Tank and DPS, respectively, but I do really want to try out Champion.

Maybe for run three, who knows.

I actually started a second run, but wound up going back to my first character.  I know I'm definitely going to get around to finishing my second character (which I always had problems with in the previous 2 games) at some point.  But I'm finding that I still have a lot of stuff I missed out on with my first playthrough.  Enjoying running around and sidequesting with her.

Yes if you really enjoyed the game.  I am on my second playthrough, nearing the end.  Already working on backstory for my third character.

I am more of a enjoy the journey type so the end boss fight did not disappoint me. Have learned to accept that sometimes the final boss fight is lame compared to previous battles.

There is so much to the game.  I thought I would be repeating a lot of content in second playthrough and that the tone would be the same.  Nope.  It has felt like a new experience.  Went from female Dalish archer to male noble warrior.  Each had their own backstories, values and motivations.  That changed many of my decisions which lead to new quests, locations and discoveries.

If I really like a game, I will replay it, sometimes many times (7 playthroughs of DAO).  DAI is one of the games I will keep coming back to.

I'm on my 3rd playthrough (just started). I haven't done a 100% completionist one yet. Sure I will eventually, but I'm trying out different races/classes/attitudes. I haven't even seen all the areas yet. And I never get sick of the Hinterlands (I really don't). I'm paranoid about the banter bug - my first playthrough had almost no banter; 2nd one seemed fine/normal. But other than that, I think this might be the only game I'm able to finish and replay over and over and over. I'll stop to play other games I'm interested in (dabbling in Far Cry 4 co-op with my boyfriend at the moment, so might stop for a bit to play that SP campaign) but still having a lot of fun with DA:I still and looking forward to at least a few more runs before it goes back on the shelf (to emerge again in a few months).

But I've played all 3 Mass Effects several times (it is hard to replay ME1) as well as DA:O and DA2 a lot of times (rarely finish DA:O again though because I hate the final battle). Not as right-in-a-row though usually. I find Inquisition easier to replay immediately. Mainly because I don't feel the need to "do it all" in one run.

I'm not even done with my first playthrough(50-60hrs in) and I haven't touched the game for 2 weeks now... the thumbnail on my desktop keeps looking at me with pleading eyes, but i just end up hovering the cursor over it for a minute or two debating about whether or not I really want to play then I start playing something else. DAI just hasn't sucked me in like the last 2 DA games(yes, I rather enjoyed DA2 even with it's "flaws").. something is missing or something new is getting in the way, but i just can't put my finger on it. (I'm not even motivated enough to help with the modding  )

I think I'll have a go at it again after it's patched some more and the first story add-on is released, for now I think my DAI shortcut is going into the Unused Shorcuts folder.

Might be the same for me to an extent. I expect to do a second playthrough and take a break...I must have beaten ME3 and ME2 both 10 times over the years by just coming back when i felt the itch.

On my second playthough now, playing a dwarf with a noble dwarf warden with treacherous brother on the throne for the greater good and a mage Templar siding hawke.  Currently Enjoying the banter between the dwarf inquisitor and Varric on the Hissing waste dwarven ruins.

I started a second right after finishing the first. Unfortunately every time i hit the hinterlands and see an elf root, I remember all the picking. Then I scream in frustration and log off. So now I've got like40 level 3 characters.

A good quest is one you do because you really want to see what happens next. Not because you get some XP or some gold. DA:I has almost no quests like that (outside the main story questline).

The grindy nature really hinders replayability, imo. I know I can choose to skip over most of the side content, but ignoring everyone in need in turn hinders the role-playing aspect.

Making the same major choices in replays, or repeatedly playing a goody-two-shoes is never the issue for me. I've always had a blast playing the exact same Shepard in Mass Effect 2. But the thought of planet-scanning does make me cringe every time I start a new playthrough. Think of that in DA:I, but amplified 10 times.

That said, I will probably replay as a warrior somewhere down the line, after patches/DLC.

I had no idea just how much I missed on my first playthrough. Not a damn clue.

Also fielding an entire different squad alone is worthwhile in my opinion. But I am the kind of player that sticks with a single squad setup for the entire game. I suppose you could get all the banter if you mixed it up all the time.
