@Fullsizeluxury

because i was being totally serious

but even if i was im entitled to a bit of frustration, and i do feel bad that bioware was forced into doing something that they probably fought against.

360-

Ensure your gamertag is linked to the same ea online account that you redeemed your code with. if it is not, ea customer support has to link yoru gamertag to the correct eaonline/social site account.

if your gamertag is correctly linked, or if your gamertag isnt linked at all, all you have to to is make sure you log into the game with the same credentials you used on the social site.

for the 360 *zaeed is not currently up, but normandy crash is*

...and how do we get them to do that?

What about those who used the wrong ea email... That won't be fixed. So for those of us getting the middle finger - what are we left to do?

If you used the wrong email, contact ea customer support and tell them that you want your entitlements from the email you used on the bioware social site moved into the account that you used in game.

that should clear it up.

i will personally talk to ea customer support tomorrow to make sure they have the info to help. ill do my best

go to ea.com and log in to whatever account you used to redeem cerberus. then link your gamertag.

alternatively, try to log in to that account directly in the game (that will work if there are no gamertags assocaited with your profile)

Yeah, for whatever reason, Sinhound is linked with something OTHER than sinhound@hotmail.com ... I meant how do we make them change it?

Michael - what about my situation? And the situation of the guy who started the thread? Both our xbox live accounts say we're linked (or at least, it appears that we are...EA.com says our persona is taken and our Xbox live says the d/l is "free" instead of 1200 points...right before it says we can't d/l right now. So what do we do, just call tech support tomorrow?

if youre not sure what account your gamertag was associated with, i think if you call them and tell them your gamertag they can find the account. if that doesnt work, let me know via pm

nope. all that bioware site will do is link your content and cerberus to the account you use on here.

if you then log into your game under a different account (or have your gamertag pointing to an entirely different ea online account, it cant read all of your cerberus and promo content. thus, make sure you use your original ea online account (the one with your gamertag assocaited to it) for all things

well thats Fine I use my default mail for my gamertag and everything else so I'm good there. just have to get my gamertag on the ea site is all I need. thats why i'm hoping the registering it helps with that.

What about those folks that created their social site accounts for Dragon Age on the PS3?? When I log onto this site using my email and password it only recognizes my PSN account. How do we attach our XBL Gamertags to the same account. Is it even possible?(given I see no link on my social "homepage," with such an option)

ok, still NO ANSWERS.....so how about instead of more incessant rambling we actually get a solution. I want either the dlc or my money back. Three friggin codes and I can't access ANY of the content because my cerberus code is now "already in use" and the downloads I did get on my computer keep saying cant use because ME2 is not installed on this computer....no S**T, I bought it for console ya bastiches! .WTF Bioware?!?!?!?

Thank you EA for forcing your absolutely mental way of downloading onto BioWare. You've officially made about 5000 angry exfans (as someone else put it so elegantly) because you wanted to up your site traffic. Well I hope you all get jock itch. And by that I mean something very much worse than Jock itch. If I get screwed out of my dlc because they failed to provide clear instructions im just gonna have to go and flip out on my neighbors cat. hahaha, i couldnt say that without laughing.

I second that motion, and as for the cat I say that we spice him up a bit with some paprika and have some charred EA games on the side to remind us of how much we loathe EA.

please boot up your xbox and log into the same account you used when registering on bioware social. as posted many times on the forum, the content for the 360 users is accessable through the in game store. we just offer the pc content as well (in case you ever get both versions of the game)

I can't even sign into the EA servers from my 360. Keeps saying it timed out or some crap.

Thank you for chiming in, Michael.  There really, really needs to be a detailed tutorial posted as a sticky for how to do this right.  or a FAQ, or something.  The reason i play console games is to avoid this kind of pain in the neck.  Console games are supposed to be easy, not about linking accounts, emails being the same etc.  registering games and whatever else you need to do to finally get this working right.

And how do we do this if we don't have access to a PC to open an ea account? I preordered 2 mass effect 2 games, collector edition for me and standard edition for my daughter. I have access to PC and have finally figured out how to link all my gamertags to my ea account (just barely, had to get sleep). However, my daughter only as an xbox console and no access to a PC. Will she still be able to use the codes to open up cerebus network as well as the bonus armor? Or is she boned like others here are saying they are? There really needs to be a detailed faq on this!!!

Also, only one of my gamertags uses the same email for the live id as my ea account although all 3 are linked to my ea account. Do I have to use the account with the same live id to use my code for the network? Can I do this from my console? or do I have to do this from my PC???

ALL OF THIS FAR TO CONFUSING BEYOND WORDS!!!!!

FOR XBOX360 GAMERS - TO LINK YOUR GAMERTAG:

go to ea.com, sign in with your email-useraccount/password, this should drop you to your profile page.

Scroll down to the 'persona' section and click 'add persona'. Type in the info for your existing xbox gamertag and that should do it. Then restart your ME2 session on your xbox.

I'm guessing on that last part because unfortunately when I try to do this it says my gamertag is already taken and I'm trying to figure out how to fix it - but that SHOULD be how this works, clear as mud and the support posts from bioware people aren't too helpful (probably because it's not their system).

sorry to hear so many of you are having issues. i put my codes(both cerebrus and terminus) in and it worked fine. was able to dl my terminus armor, blood dragon armor, and the crash site all with no issues... so its not everybody thats experiencing problems.
