I just realized that Im not sure if I scouted for the Flames of Inquisition armor/weapons on the map when I had the chance-- I think I did, because I did all the mounts and extra bits all at once (the drakolisk, Halla etc) but if I didn't....and I am now at Skyhold, is it too late to go back for it? Because that's the one thing I'm missing at the moment from the Deluxe bonus content..... I did get something in my chest called "Dragon Armour" (looks pretty cool) but I don't think that's it exactly

There should be tier 2 shematics for it in a box in Skyhold crafting area(later in the game youll get a new set of t3 shematics same was again), you did get one armor and weapon in Haven from similar box when you woke up after attempting to close the breach for the first time(but what you get there is actual items and it depends on your class what you get, later on in Skyhold youll get shematics so you can craft those armors and weapons for anyone with your desired materials)

And yes dragon armor is one of those items.
