Batarian Soldier is Gold EZ Mode. Especially against Reapers. Literally, the only thing you have to worry about is dropping Banshee barriers. Everything else can be easily taken care of by Inferno Grenades while you sit down and have a beer and wait. Brute? Throw 2 grenades and wait. Ravager? Throw 1 grenade and wait. Group of mooks? Throw a grenade or two and wait. Maybe for 1-2 mooks, you could use your gun and/or Blades. You know, if waiting for enemies to die is getting boring.

Bronze is harder than insanity, and it's not even a contest...
Agree totally. Even on Insanity, you rarely ever have to worry about being flanked, and you can always "pause" the action to develop a strategy for GTFO.

It's the ease you can generate combos and pretty much pause the action while looking around to access the situation. I can play insanity while eating a sandwich.
I didn't realize multiplayer had different combo mechanics. Please explain them to me.
On this subject, if you consider yourself a master controlling Garrus and Liara, make it an apples to apples comparison and go into Bronze with 2 similar masters and then tell me which is harder.
It is fun to have feel good about yourself memes in this forum, but "bronze is harder than insanity" is just absurd.

Here is a little test you can do yourself.
Start a new character on insanity. Then take your best weapons to Sanctum as soon as it is available. You can either hide your squad in a corner and let them die, or utilize them.
After you do that, go into MP. Create "Bronze Cerberus Glacier." Use a vanilla human the same class as Shepard. If you used your squad, get two friends of comparable "skill" and let them pick classes similar to your squad. Since everyone here has a maxed manifest most likely, use whatever weapons and mods you want. And since you probably have consumables and geth scanner, put them on.
I don't know about a team game, but a solo should be relatively straight forward to pull off in the 11-13 minute range while getting 10WS and not using any in match consumables like ops, gel, clips, or rockets depending on objectives.
At the conclusion of the experiment you can then say which one is "harder."

You can control three different powersets on separate CDs plus you have Shepherd which is just ridiculous by himself. I never said Bronze was harder but I would say Silver is about equal if you're playing with pugs.

While the mighty pause button allows to optimize your course of action, U stil face a nice challenge on insanity at the start of all me games. And i m still struggling (i mean dying few times in a row at specific points) against groups in me1 even at level 40

How is Shepard ridiculous? He is inferior to most DLC characters. Sure he can eventually get more vanilla game powers, but who cares? He can never have remotely the same number of good grenades as in MP, can't refill them really except on MP carbon copy missions, and he can never have a remotely similar amount of shields as compared to MP unless you stack DR on a couple classes. And it is only possible to get a good ammo on 2 of the 6 classes.
With a team you can make combos as easily as in SP. If you are going to count PUGs who you probably don't talk to as your MP squad, then for SP you need to not order your squad mates and let them go with auto power use. If you order the SP squad it is much more like playing with a group of friends in MP.
I would probably still disagree that Silver is more difficult, mainly because of the difference in the difficulty handler, which is where the stats that matter are predominantly.
Level 5 aka Insanity
Enemy Damage Multiplier: 2.25-2.5
AI Shieldgate: 1.0
AI Armor DR: 50
Player Shield Regen: 0.25
Player Shield Regen Delay Destroyed: 4
Player Shield Regen Delay Partial: 3
Cover Damage DR: 0.9
No Cover Penalty: 0.4
Player Shieldgate Duration: 0.1
Player Healthgate Duration: 0.1
Level 2 MP aka Silver
Enemy Damage Multiplier: 1.9
AI Shieldgate: 0.75
AI Armor DR: 30
Player Shield Regen: 0.286
Player Shield Regen Delay Destroyed: 4
Player Shield Regen Delay Partial: 3
Cover Damage DR: 0.9
No Cover Penalty: 0.4
Player Shieldgate Duration: 0.25
Player Healthgate Duration: 0.25
What makes the most difference is in bold. All are raw variables from the handler except damage multiplier (I added in the 1 to make it the actual multiplier).

I think one of the main reasons SP seems easier than MP is the spawns are frequently smaller, and almost entirely basic troopers. As someone else mentioned, you don't see 4 Phantoms in SP. Hell, you only see two Banshees twice. So even though the enemies are slightly tougher on paper in Insanity than on Bronze, the fact is you're normally only facing three or four at once, and they're basic troopers with maybe one elite-basic leader (Centurion, Marauder etc).
Either way, I think we can all agree SP is easy compared to MP. Bioware needs to make SP difficulty scale more effectively in ME4.

Lol! Does Shepard get the ability to pause the match at will and slo-mo when he's firing?

Sure, since that advantage is insignificant next to the power of GI.

Warlock is very gold friendly. Preferably the sunsinger build. Be sure to spec into fireborn for a free revive to save on med gels as long as you keep killing to charge up your super.

Master Rahool is a sick freak. I always trade in my axiomatic anal beads and silken condoms for space cash from him.
He actually reminds me of one of the guys from "Grumpy Old Men". Always talking to himself and bitching about something.

I don't get this hipster "Bronze is harder than Insanity" idea. In Bronze you can take a lot of fire before you die, in Insanity you can't. In SP enemies also keep respawning in inconvenient places, much more so than in MP (in my opinion).
Then again, I don't like to abuse pause in SP, so maybe it's just that...

Yes, hipster.
Unclear to me that pause is actually an advantage if you know the levels. It certainly is not near as big as an advantage as Geth Scanner, 9 Cobras, or 60 Arc Grenades. Even the vanilla classes are mostly better than the analogous Shepard. Singularity is much better in MP. ARush is much better in MP. Cloak is better in SP on paper, but the extra damage is largely wasted, and due to shield gate you can't actually one-shot most protected units except with Widow or Javelin (only max DA / Fortification Javelin build one-shots all of the protected humanoids). For the rest you can largely push past SP with some gear and consumables.
Ammos are largely worse in SP than in MP, and are squad or bonus power only to 3 classes. Maxed Disruptor is something like DA3 in MP with worse stun chance, Cryo is a little better since you can get the Headshot evo (although SG limited anyway since it affects weapon HS modifier), and Incendiary might be better, but is limited to 2 classes, or -50% damage if via James. Warp is bonus only but maxes as a worse version of WA3. AP is vastly inferior in SP due to 50% damage penalty shooting through cover, which means the only full damage double hits you can get are with innate penetrating weapons, many of which aren't good in SP due to the 100% shieldgate.

Not to mention the lack of thermal packs in Sp, there's been a number of times when I ran out of ammo and I pressed the left Dpad on the controller only to send Garrus to his death!

Well, Shephard as adept is completely destroying everything in their path. Singularity, Warp, Shockwave, Cluster Grenades, Throw, Pull and a power of your choice on top (Flare, Slam, Lash, Stasis, Reave, DC, Barrier, Warp Ammo). I didn't have a single problem winning fights in ME3 SP. Everything fell before my might. ![]()
