Hehe. It's the brown hair. Wish they'd gone with the black hair.

I wanted him to have the yellow eyes too. If his father was Loghain where did the eye color come from?

I also would've liked him to have the yellow eyes. They're kind of iconic at this point.

I kinda hoped he'd end up being a dopey-looking little Theirin kid in my canon. Alistair was his dad, after all. ![]()

My warden is his Father. Is Alistair Kieran any different? A dooface like his dad and such?

I'm just glad he didn't look like Starchild.

What disturbed me more than the brown hair was Kieran's oddly zoned-out manner. It's like the kid practices yoga twenty hours a day... or Morrigan secretly uses blood magic and turned him into a thrall. In all honesty if Kieran has the soul of an Old God wouldn't you expect him to be a little more, I don't know, spirited? The Kieran in the game always sounds as though he's about three seconds away from dropping into an endless coma. Where did they get the inspiration for his mannerisms from, people in hospice?

He doesn't change at all. I was disappointed.

I think Morrigan coddled him, a lot. He's like super polite and nice. And the way the game goes, his body just holds the Old God soul with a few memories leaking through.

Wouldn't excessively coddling a child make them act out even more? Maybe it's the voice acting for Kieran that seems so flat and uninspired, but still. If that's how the game goes (Kieran holds the soul rather than being Urthemiel reborn) then I must say that I don't like it. (This is my personal opinion) The whole beauty of how the Dark Ritual in Origins was presented to me was that not only were you putting your life in the hands of questionable elder magic, but you would also allow Morrigan to drive out a living child's soul to make room for the Old God, an act that has one's personal morality to consider. Now, Kieran is perfectly skipping fine after Flemeth takes the soul away, because Urthemiel might as well have been a hood ornament in the metaphysical sense. Agh, it bugs me.

I mean it in the way she shielded him from the dark sides of life. He's really innocent.

Maybe he's just like Akira (from the Japanese comics).

How he looks isn't that far off how my city elf warden looked.
Sure, he doesn't have elven ears, and some traits are a bit off. but all in all, i could see how he is the warden's son
