If I side with the templars, what happens to the people of redcliffe? Do the Vints leave after Alexius fails his mission to kill the inquisitor? Does bann Tegan get his castle back?

There is a war table about it, but I dont remember what happens.

And Alexius is killed by Corypheus, because he is no longer useful.

After Redcliffe was handed over to Tevinter, my inquisitor decided to go to the templars for help. Since magic is the mage's only weapon, once dispelled, they would be lambs for the slaughter, Tevinter or not.

And didn't someone say Ferelden was mustering an army to retake Redcliffe? I was hoping to join that assault with my newly acquired templars. It appears the Vints along with the rebel mages decided to pack their bags and leave. :(

I was just running around Redcliffe after siding with the Templars and I heard some random person say that the mages and Tevinters were gone. I haven't explored it thoroughly yet, though.

if the templars are recruited, Alexius successfully recruits/indoctrinates the mage rebels, and is killed by Corypheus.

Since their trap for the Inquisitor failed, they then march on Haven, Dorian hears of the attack and races to warn the Inqusition

In truth, I dont think his plan was to brainwash the mage. The quest in the future shows the mage being used to grow red lyrium out of their corpses, plobably to feed the red templars, so I think the original plan was to use the mage to make a trap for the inquisitor and after that use them to grow red lyrium. When the inquisitor go to the templars, he chances his plan and brainwash the mages to use them against the inquisition, since he lost a lot of his soldier to them.

Most of them probably end up buried beneath the snow at Haven.
