I'm having one of those "game blind" episodes where I cannot see what is probably obvious because I'm looking at the problem wrong. The Hinterlands tome appears to be up on elevated terrain. Where, please, is the approach for this terrain? I feel like I keep making a horseshoe trail around the mountains to no avail.

It's on the gatehouse turret, when you approach from the southside there is a walkway to the right of the gatehouse that leads up to an entrance.
