So after chatting a bit in the weapon mechanics topic I decided to make a topic about a DW rogue build I've been thinking about. I'm not 100% on all of the mechanics, but that's why I'm posting it, to get some advice! Also note that this is planned as a more practical setup, so I'm not relying on mercy killing in case your party isn't set up to cause panic (no necromancer), or the enemy is immune. This should be more or less equally effective against any enemy or even mobs.

Most important attack skills: Stealth, Spinning Blades, Twin Fangs, Hidden Blades, Mark of Death, with Shadow Strike and Throwing Blades as later priorities.

Vital Passive Skills: Easy to Miss, Dance of Death, Sneak Attack, and Looked Like it Hurt.

The point here is that spinning blades hits 9 times, and with high enough crit chance and Looked Like it Hurt, you'll regain more stamina than you spent. Amulets and masterwork crafting that reduces your stamina use or increases your total stamina is ideal to synergize with this, because rogues have really powerful attacks that come out fast and they're stamina pigs. Hidden Blades only hits 6 times so you would have to trigger a crit on all of them to make it back up, but even getting three or four would go far to regenerating your stamina. You can also almost break even on throwing blades, and it not only may hit several targets to sunder them, but if you only hit one damage each hit is 200% weapon damage, for a total of 800%, not too shabby. Easy to Miss is important so you can stay flanking for the big crits, and even though Dance of Death doesn't work with death blow or twin fangs, I think it works with most of the other attacks, so you can keep your stamina up. Shadow Strike isn't important so much for damage (Besides flank attack, it's one of the weakest damaging rogue skills), but hitting from flank causes a knockdown, it triggers a detonation, and it reduces your cooldown times. With enough stamina regeneration, it'll be cooldown you'll want to work towards after.

For masterwork slots, reducing stamina use is big, as is the hidden-blade proc, because not only does it add a bunch of damage, but I'm pretty sure the crits you get from that will work for stamina regen, and it's also free for stamina! I'm trying to get the top tier3 dagger schematic (I think I buy it from the merchant at Emprise du Lion once I've gotten that one perk) before I start doing crafting, becuase i want to make sure I know all my options for slots. Raising dex is obviously useful for attack and crit damage, but cunning could also work for crit chance! I'd have to do more testing to see at what point a few more % of crit chance becomes irrelevant.

A few mechanics I'm not sure of. Instantly critting from stealth with Knife from the Shadows sounds great, but if I use, say, hidden blades or spinning blades, are all hits going to crit, or just the first hit? Also, does masterwork forging a dagger or armor also add 10% to the bonuses from grips? If so, it might be useful going for that too.

So, any thoughts?
