You can get metals on war table missions, especially if you send Cullen, but until the Cloth and Leather missions on Emrise Du Lion, there's really not a predictable way to get Cloth and Leather pieces, is there? I got metals galore, but not so much cloth and leather. Thoughts?

Check merchants for crafting materials. (I see I got beat to this suggestion above.) Also, note the constantly respawning animal zones when you find them. For example, hunting the dragonlings around the HInterland's dragon nest is a great way to stock up their scales and there's conveniently a camp to quick travel to nearby.
Cloth is a little bit harder for me to keep stocked than the other two.
