Dude if they wanted it to be super realistic everyone would be dead arround the age of 30.

Well, I doubt they have toothbrushes and the like... so yellow teeth is kinda to be expected? I don't know. I never noticed anything funny with the teeth colors. Pearly white teeth would be weird for their time periode anyway ![]()
Considering how hot Leliana looks, I wonder about ther breath =X

Didn't they have white teeth in Kirkwall? Did my mind invent that fact? Am I gaslighting myself?

What are you talking about? I mean, yes, people in Origins were yellow of tooth and tongueless, but the improvements in oral hygiene we saw in Kirkwall were nowhere to be seen in this game. Characters in this game have brown teeth again. (well, they kept their tongues, I guess) Blame the civil war(s). (honestly, why did the developers decide to go back to yellow teeth? if they want verisimilitude, why isn't everyone short as hell, too?)
Might just be because I played DA:O right before it so anything's a step up in that department, but most of them looked pretty well-kept to me. Not pearly white like I was remembering, but...they're not bad by any means...
I've seen worse in 2014. :S

They did have white teeth in Kirkwall, but most people on the planet (this one) have teeth of a slightly yellowish tone. I don't mind so long as it's not the rotten wood of DA:O...

In Blackwall's defense, Dorian is a snobby little peacock and is probably exaggerating just a little, haha.

Dorian, Vivienne, and someone else mentioned it, so it has to have some truth in it. ![]()

Not if you're a mage who can destroy the entire village with an outburst. ![]()

Did we see the Inquisitor's chamber pot like we saw Hawke's? I always resented getting teleported to the Inquisitor's room and left ASAP because I didn't feel there was anything to do there, so I might have missed it.

Well, Blackwall does sleep in the stables. I'm sure he bathes, but if you're living in the stables you're always going to smell a little of horse and hay. Not something that Dorian would exactly find appealing, I'm guessing!

There's no pot in the chamber.

Oi! He's a fabulous peacock, get it right! ![]()
As for bathrooms... I thought there was a pot in one of the cubbies to the side of the bed? I could be wrong, might need to check again.
If our inquisitor doesn't use chamber pots, I can only assume she/he does it over the balcony showering the garden with wonderful fertilizer.

Well, Vivienne is even worse than he is, but is someone else agrees then I guess that's enough evidence, haha.

Dorian also expressed surprise when Bull didn't fart near the dessert table at the ball. Methinks the Bull's not too fussed about smelling pretty.
Nope, not fussed at all
Bull's reply to the praise is: "That you know of..." He probably did pass a few, and never gave a damn.
As far as BO is concerned, Bull complains that humans smell of pork that's been left out in the sun for too long
The banter in this game is so good
But then, it's Bioware. Banter's always fun in their games ![]()

Why not a bed? With a castle this big, there should be soldier and servant quarters.

Hmm, only thing I've heard so far vis-a-vis Blackwall's grooming (or lack thereof) was Cole commenting on how his hair is a bit knotty. Which I think can be taken care of with a hairbrush at least. ![]()

I would guess it's partly self-punishment, partly habit of keeping away from people. There's a bedroll in the barn, so I think that's where he sleeps.

Someone mentioned that if you romance Solas, Cassandra will comment that he smells like Lavellan's perfume.
Wait, really? Ha!
Now I wonder if Cass wears perfume. I think she might, but a very subtle scent. Leliana would wear something flowery and Orlesian while Josie's would be simple and elegant.
Dorian and Viv are so much fun to have in a party with Solas. All three of them keep trying to out-sass each other.
Dorian: Ah, Solas! You startled me. You’re always so… nondescript.
Solas: Please speak up! I cannot hear you over your outfit!
Actual banter.

Can mages groom themselves magically? Is that what this is about? Does anyone say unkind things about Solas's hygiene? Is cleaning magic as taxing as healing magic?

Viv calls him an "unwashed apostate hobo" but I think she's still stinging from when Solas told her she front-loads her barriers.

I don't think so, other than when Dorian tells Solas that his fashion sense is best summarized as "apostate hobo," Vivienne will chime in with "unwashed apostate hobo."
