Okay i just got the game for pc and im a keyboard and mouse user, i dont even own a controller.

 

Now when i get into combat in the game it basically becomes unplayable. I move the camera to get my target into view, left click to start attacking, and within a couple clicks the camera decides to snap off in some odd direction for no reason. I'll then put the camera on my targets again, click to attacks and within a second or two the camera will just pop off in some other direction.

And as a mage in game wherever your looking is where your casting your spells, so im basically doing little to no damage cause half the time im missing because one second im attacking, the next im firing off into the woods or into some wall behind me. Its annoying as hell.

 

Anyone else having this issue???

Welcome to using K&M for this game. My only recommendation is either getting a game controller, wait for a patch that may be released, or stick it out with the awful controls.

Put it this way....  if the patch comes out tomorrow and there's no pc control fixes...  set this forum on refresh and watch the fireworks.

If it doesnt i wouldnt expect fireworks, id expect thousands of thousands of people sitting outside Bioware headquarters with torches and pitchforks...lol

Ya i was looking at it from another post. Hope it fixes my issue. Id hate to have to wait for yet another patch. In the meantime I updated all my drivers again and even got the beta release thats suppose to be made for DAI (even though i normally dont get beta drivers)

So hopefully it will run smooth afterwards.

There will almost surely be new video drivers released after the first patch is live.
