Well, so deleting the configurations folder from the patch-folder did exactly nothing.

 

Which is even weirder, tbh. The game seems to be looking in the wrong place for the config files. Perhaps a less easy fix than I suspected in the first place.

OMG please hotfix the hot mess of shine and ugly that is forcing us all to play on low settings.

 

I have a powerful PC for a reason, that reason is, I am a graphics snob. This is horrible. Painful. It makes me cry inside.

This is ridiculous, aside from the bugs everyone already mentioned I am also experiencing extreme performance drops in option menus as well as menus like ability selection, the war table, etc. I wish I could revert my download of the patch, the game was absolutely fine for me before.

I could care less about the graphics because i run all on medium (Meshes on high) but i would like to know if we can deactivate the "take all in container" that got added in this patch

So...what I'm hearing is that PC users who haven't patched yet should stay offline from Origin, at least until this graphics issue is fixed, right?  I mean, there isn't any amazing upside to the patch that nobody is talking about, right?

I have the feeling motion blur got way way worse now? Especially when rotating camera...

 

I'm glad I made a backup before updating... Now, shitty graphics or loot all button?

there already WAS a loot all button, its the enter key! don't believe me, well if you on the old version of the game open a loot pile, don't press F after opening it press enter and all is picked up.

My sympathies to everyone that's had their game downgraded by this 'patch'. I've not downloaded it yet - and I won't be - but I would be as outraged as you are.

I hope this gets fixed fast.

It's 12.43 in Canada. You have a whole afternoon to make things right.

Set Origin to Offline mode and play. You won't be able to do multiplayer or use the DA Keep, but at least you'll play the game pre-patch.

I haven't noticed much if any in a decrease in graphics on high/ultra, but I do notice the game running smoother!

Removing the gameconfiguration files/folder didn't work. Ultra settings, offline and online all tested. The folder isn't replicating, so it's some other files that were altered.

Wait, did they remove the save scumming exploit?  So help me god if they patched that before they patched the qunari archer animation bull****.....

I can confirm shiny hair no scars or freckles and general downgrade. I was shocked when i saw harding, i was like what did they did to you? you perfect freckles are gone noooooo!

I'm guessing the lowered the settings during testing to make sure they got rid of the shiny hair on low settings and someone ust forgot to reinstate the full range of settings.

PS4 player here: Graphically the game is fine, but now the audio sounds like it has a bad case of the hiccups.

I can confirm that theirs no shiny hair on PS4. So I assume it's a PC only thing.

Heres a lovely pic of my character. Take a wild gues which is from when and now.

 

Hair color changed, eye color changed, scars and complex is gone, the gloss is insane, and the details is poor as hell. WTF happen BioWare!.

 

Hotfix this please!.
