Amazingly the stuttering/freezing every 5 secs is completely gone. Very excited to be able to play again.

Wait ... people who don't have 980s are benefiting from that driver (in terms of DA:I performance)? Has anyone else had this experience? Looking at the driver notes, I don't see anything that applies to me.
I ask because I have a 680 (running with 344.75).
Erm...after this patch Im experiencing for the first time enemies coming towards me only to disappear a few feet from me. This is new and worrying. I want to kill stuff not watch them disappear

Hi, can I just ask, please, since Patch 2 I've been getting a lot of sound glitches. Stuttering of the dialogue, conversations playing over each other at the same time. This was not happening prior to Patch 2 and I've tested all the sound profiles and it happens in each one. Will this hotfix address this issue or does that require another hotfix or is this something else entirely?

This stuttering/freezing issue is very strange for me.
Just after patch freezing was so often I couldn't play. I manipulated graphical setting (lowering them) but not restart the game (so the settings should have not changes), and game went smoothly (as before). After some time I started game again, played some time smoothly and freezing begin destroying my game again. This time I couldn't play (changing game setting to the lowest doesn't help). In fact game was freezing even on the starting screen, on inventory scree, character screen etc. Though it could be caused by some DiretX update or something like that that was installed with the patch. Rollback the system to pre-patch (although AOI remains patched as it is on non-system drive) and run game in "off-line" mode. Till now everything seems be fine. However, it seems that the issue appears from time to time and maybe is connected with some other stuff (connection with DA servers?)
So far I am not experiencing stuttering or freezing after the patch. The shiny hair is annoying but I am confident I can live with it until a fix comes out.
But I am worried that the patch may have messed up the approval I gained. Companions who greeted me friendly are now acting neutral or even aggressive when I talk to them after returning to Skyhold from other regions. When I talk to them again they sometimes act friendly again, sometimes not.
Was it always random how they reacted and I didn't notice or is this "post-patch"?
Please excuse mistakes since I am no native speaker.

I have 2x680 and that driver has been a godsend. No crashing whatsover. 344.75 is AWFUL for this game. Trust me. That patch will work for your system since drivers work for all newer cards, that's how Nvidia works

Good sir, there is no reason to become hostile like this. We are all experiencing a myriad of issues. While some of the players got their enjoyment limited through bad patch, the others(like me) are still waiting for the broken-glued male elf model fix so that they can enjoy their immersion and RP in the RPG. Thank you for suggestion, but no thank you. I'm always playing male characters where it is possible. Additionally, by choosing a female elf I would give up my fight. There is no retreat for me.

Since this is the DAI Patch 2 thread though, I think you're a bit out of place here, especially if all this is about is posting links to threads in the Help Centre which have nothing to do with Patch 2

Okay, Im confused. Opening post says they would be deploying a hotfix "today", but that post was made yesterday.
Is the hotfix here already or did he edit the post to refer to today as in 12/10/2014?
