You guys let me know how it goes....lol...I have to run on low settings as it is and the patch didn't fix anything for me but it didn't break anything either...waiting to see how the hot fix goes before downloading.

Hmm mine is 270.34 MB
Time to wait and see what these amateurs managed to break this time around.
(Monitor was a waste buying too, should have gotten a 1440p 120 hertz monitor instead...)
Hmmm...
Considering my future G-Sync possibilities, this is interesting...
Hmm mine is 270.34 MB
Did you backroll or something?

Just to clarify, it's 270.34 MB - like SSV Enterprise said, appears to be a whole-patch replacement.
You downloading people are going to come back and let us cautious types know how it goes right? You wouldn't be cruel and leave us hanging now, would you?
Totally off topic but aside from newegg, Amazon, and (the incredibly risky) ebay does anyone know of where I can get started upgrading my baby? I know at this point I'm probably better off just getting a whole new machine and upgrading it but a grand for a new PC....that's...a little painful on the checkbook for us.
If you don't mind buying used, head over to the market page on the forums of www.overclock.net Most of the folks there are tech junkies who baby their parts and upgrade the second something newer comes out selling the old one. Not hard to find parts that got released 5 or 6 months ago with very little usage going on the cheap.
Remember to disable the workaround in the command line before playing
Please post your experience with the patch. I was downloading but pause half way. I'm not sure I should continue or not

Nope

Awesome, thanks! I definitely don't mind going used. Almost everyone I know who bothers to upgrade in pieces treats their machines really well. Almost everywhere I've seen even a graphics card from the same year as mine is like 300 bucks...It's yikes-worthy. I suppose I can wait until tax return time and sweet talk my husband into letting me upgrade as an anniversary gift.
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?
Last time I had faith in something Joss Whedon killed Wash.

I was apart of the industry until 2007 and the numbers was clear. However one cant predict the future, one can however see waht other Companys focus on and where the trends are.
Now its not in favour for pc anymore due to various reasons and nr1 beeing piracy. Some gengres are only pc exclusive though if you want, World Of Tanks) for ex) thats becouse of the history the platform has, not necessarilly to potentials. The gaming producer commumity is still extremly conservetive.
Its like polticts, it change in time and time is ever flowing these Days compared to say 1996.
Downloading now. 17.4mb I hope it works.
Indeed. I abhor using controller with PC but for skyrim I make an exception. I had played it on my husband's x-box and grabbed it on sale (10 bucks for the legendary edition!) for PC because MODS....but the UI is just...yeesh. Super speed mouse and what works on a controller with that game is NOT meant for PC.
Then again I've had no issues with DAI's UI. I rather like it on PC.
I'll always prefer my computer for gaming, consoles just aren't right for me but there are some games for which I make an exception. Oblivion (I don't have it on PC yet), Dragon's Dogma (Never made for PC), The Fable games, annnd...that's actually about it. Otherwise I'm a PC girl.
There was at least one good UI mod for Skyrim that changed the UI to something much more PC friendly. Skyrim does have mods going for it.

If nothing else, yeah.
