People who have stuttering issues;
1. Go offline in both origin and DA. I had freezes before that I solved completely by doing this.
2. Someone previously in this thread reported that it had been a GPU issue for which AMD had put out a fix. Unfortunately I don't know where that post is. But make sure your drivers are up-to-date and check if there are any hotfixes available for your card.
I'm still getting it, but I think less?
EDIT: My drivers were updated, so I'm just talking about the Origin offline.

I'll try to go offline. But i got a gtx 770 with the last driver release, and i'm getting stuttering. And i wasn't have any before the patch! I was just fine at high ultra settings, 40 to 60 fps but now it's impossible to play!

For what is worth I downloaded the hotfix and the stuttering does appear to be lessened to some degree. I have not been noticing it like I did yesterday. I found it to be really bad in Skyhold yesterday so I need to go back there to test it out. But currently The Western Approach does seem Ok.

I have begun the process of downloading.
I got the 270 version. As I have said multiple times I never downloaded the original broken patch, so this must be it and the 17 one must be the hotfix. It downloaded at 5 mb/s at first, got to 40% rather fast, then slowed down to a crawl of 100 kb/s.
So now it's doing said crawl. WTG, Bioware. So far not impressed.
I don't think that's it. I had the previous patch, but I still have the 270mb one.

After three minutes or so, the 352 MB patch made like Usain Bolt and sprinted to the end, the window closed, and the 17 MB patch popped up. I have no idea. Origin is on crack.

Wake up, the industry isnt all "Mighty pc" on all gengres anymore. How about that for a newsflash for ya? PC is still around and will be, just not the focus for every gengre it used to be. Thats it, like it or not thats the facts. How is that "old" saying agin >...".times are changing"...live and adept or dien trying as they say in Eve and similar games, understand now ? Its like the 60's meet 80's in many ways.
Could be wrong f course but then again not many trends nor xp say I am.

Horray, my ice is shiny and has texture again! Not as nice as it was before the patch, but I guess that has to do with the fact that it was running the shader on ultra and now it's at medium where it's supposed to be... I need a better computer.
EDIT: And I can make my qunari mage properly now! Yay, scars!

Those of you having update issues, there is something you might try (I am NOT having this issue so this just a guess) is do the 'repair game' option. (Although, it may end up re-downloading the whole thing so maybe not lol)

That nutsbag. Would you suggest others try pausing their slow crawl 270s?

This is like meeting Sera for the first time in game. I have no freakin' clue what you are muttering on about. Is there a google translate option for crazy talk?
Probably best not knowing what the you're tolling on about to be honest.

I can't even begin to guess. I can tell you I went from repeatedly failing at 42% on the 270, stopped, started over and saw 352, it spazzed out and finally gave me the 17MB, and now it's piddling along at 20-70kb/sec.

I had to cancel and restart. Well, "had" is probably a half truth. I felt the need to because it wouldn't resume. It's a snail but it made it past where it cut out before. Hopefully dl speeds will pick up later.

Oh man, I can't even get down to select "Options" the studdering is so bad.
Yes I have removed the command line fix. Yes my game ran great on "High" before all this, and yes I have the latest Omega AMD drivers from yesterday.
