I see I'm not the only one getting bald/white weird hair with hats. Is it on the bugs list or do we have to report it?
Yes, this is a known bug.

Anyone getting crashes while trying to equip potions?
For what it's worth - I had a similar weird drawn distance problem when I first ran the game after patching/hotfix. I was in the Hissing Wastes at the time, and the draw distance was comically bad, even at Ultra settings. The distance details were awful to, with muddy textures and pop-up. Oddly enough the more I played the better this became until after about 10 - 15 minutes, the graphics were back to normal. I've re-started my machine and things still seems to be fine.
I wonder whether after the patch/hotfix changed various settings the game engine now has to 're-draw' existing content again? Long story short - have you tried just playing the game for a while to see whether things improve?
I did exactly this, I didnt want to explore other areas since I'm still having the draw distance and object "popping" issue, so I went back to the hinterlands to hunt for more bear leathers aaaaaand First DAI crash :[ Just right after the seeds 20 feet away were done germinating and the trees warping into existence xD Could be a coincidence but, never encountered any lags/hitches/crashes and the draw distance + "object popping" in the hinterlands until after patch and hotfix.

Its not a bug actually, I'm wearing it and the white "hair" its actually leather.

Nope, no issues on PS3 yet
freaking amazing? The game looks even worse on your RIG than on a single GPU configuration due to SLI errors in the game (flickering textures/white fog) stop praising your $1800 computer balls.
Yeah ... amazing. Great textures and just looks/plays freaking amazing.
LOL ...
Is this the texture flicker and "white fog" you speak of? (I've seen the white fog, but very early on in my game ... haven't seen it since) ...
Here's a little vid I did just running around Valammar, 13 minutes or so ... just random shite ... fog looks good, textures look good (stats at lower right) ... did this with Shadowplay and still got over 100fps in general ...

And another one I recently did showing what I think is pretty regular looking fog ...

Lay off the crack man, it ruins your teeth:
And 100+ FPS is just GRAVY with this game at Ultra .. and my rig cost significantly more than $1800 (worth every penny) ...

Am I correct in seeing that you had multisampling turned off via in-game settings? Just curious, what happens to your fps when you max that out? Or do you override in-game with NVIDIA control panel?
I'm an eye-candy person so I have multisampling maxxed in-game and that is an fps killer for me. The game is still very playable, my fps stays pretty constant around 40 - 50. That's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for pretties.

Same issue with metal helmets that lead into hairlines. It's a uniform way of getting around hair clipping, unfortunately.
And its hilarious xD I thought it was a wig haha, be nice if the "hair" was darker colored though.
It's more of a guideline or unspoken rule than actual code.... We try to keep the ginge from taking over too many family lines...they'll suspect otherwise.
Yes, we have meetings but Mr. Hiddleston, being on the red council, is seldom in attendance. He is usually busy with other matters. There are rumours that he showed up to one last year but alas I was in the back and didn't have a clear view.
Wouldn't matter if you were at the front, you'd be blinded by the camera flashes reflecting off a sea of ginger ![]()

Gz...

Can't for the life of me figure out why they did this. It looks so dumb. I know they're concerned about clipping but, A) 95% of the hair isn't really long enough to cause serious clipping, B ) I'd take a little clipping over the skull cap under the hat, and C) this game is full of clipping anyway.
This is what ruins the cowboy hats in SWTOR too. Sigh.

Last night I played for some hours, just wanted to note something I saw. Prior to the patch I was running the same settings (minus the Ultra thing) on DirectX and not having any issues. I switched to Mantle after the patch & driver (AMD 14.12) updates because I was seeing heavy CPU usage that was probably contributing to some other issues I was having. The game runs great under Mantle now, under higher settings than I was running pre-patch. However, the load times are pretty crazy. Three minutes, in some cases.
I swapped back to DirectX to see if it was consistent across API and oh boy. DirectX runs like total crap. I dropped back down to pre-patch settings and it was still awful. Mantle is gravy apart from load times. It may just be my system bottlenecking on the CPU and Mantle just having a good effect on a lower-end system, but I thought it was worth sharing.
I have an AMD 4100 3.6 Ghz processor, Radeon HD 7700, & 16G of RAM.
-Gold pots/vases still bugged in mutliplayer
It's not a bug, it's a feature. First you got to defeat the Venatori. Then you go on to the boss fight. Men against Vase.

That's a shame...I totally love the pimp hat, but won't use it just for that reason... ![]()
Yes ... I generally turn it off since I find it makes little difference at 2560x1440 and higher resolutions. And yes as it is enabled it does affect fps ... I leave it off though for that very reason as 1440p is super tight and smooth on the edges by default. On my 1080p monitor ... Which I use strictly for FPS games, I always use multi sampling...
Best...
Hmmm, I wonder what sort of results I would get if I turned off multisampling and used the new NVIDIA DSR to play a higher resolution than 1080p, which then gets downscaled for the 1080p monitor. They claim that it improves image quality.
I magically fixed the stuttering issue by changing the display setting yesterday but could not fix the CTDs, especially while browsing in inventory screen, equipping potions and after the cutscenes... Latest AMD drivers did not help either. Game goes to the shelf. Funny thing it was running beautifully before the patches, invested around 120 hrs...

Geez, that Inquisitor is gorgeous....!
Anyone got a solution yet for stuttering/freezing post patch cant play the dam game atm thanks to the amazing work they done to broken the game.

That's true. I am lucky then, I rather like my eyes, all the better to creepily stare at people when they sleep.

I use DSR all the time and love it ... but not on DA:I ... really blows my FPS and quickly ...
I play Alien Isolation at 5120x2880 and it's just ridiculous ... (that's the DSR res I use for my 1440p screen) ...
DSR is pretty intensive and you should expect about the same FPS as playing native at whatever res you decide on ... as you experiment, try adjusting the "smoothing" setting in the Nvidia control panel down lower than the default 33% ...
And yes, using DSR and playing at higher resolutions allows you to back off LOTS of the anti aliasing type settings ... I just turn them all completely off when playing at 2880p ... nary a jagged edge anywhere ...
Best
Patch is not downloading on Xbox One

I tried using DSR once with keeping all my in-game settings the same, including maxxed multisamping. My computer was not happy.
I'm going to give it a shot again with turning multisampling off to see if it looks any better than full multisampling @ 1080p.
My specs are:
i7 4820K @ 3.70GHz
GTX 780 ti Superclocked w/ ACX Cooler
16gb RAM
I haven't done any overclocking...
