So you had a chance to do Sera as a guy and you passed it up? lol. :P

Yeah. And no ragrets either. Not even a single letter.

So I need to go on Twitter to get answers for a game I paid ninety bucks for, nah, rather stop playing the game then till next year when perhaps it is playable

News seems to appear on twitter, then here reposted by a user, then an official statement. This is the pattern I've observed in terms of information dissemination. Take that for what it's worth.

Perfectly playable for me here. Smooth as silk and no stuttering.

Graphics on ultra  ^_^

Honestly, it's nice to know we're not all squatting in the gutter begging for change. *jingles can*

Does it only add to players who have already finished the game?

Good question.

You sir are hardcore. No sarcasm. I would have given up after 1 BSOD. What's your BSOD message?

What of all the bugs are supposed to be fixed? I still have 3 sec playing time followed by 20 sec freeze. Then repeat in an endless circle. I have tried lowering settings. I have tried disabling origin ingame.

I have tried the "check for updates" but the game is updated and i am now running a repair on the game.

After Patch 2 I am having freezes on the in-game cinematics. Right now at this moment I cannot get past the Mage chosen quest against Alexius. The game freezes randomly at any part of those cinematics. I even have to press scape and skip many dialogs because I was in fear that at any moment the game will freeze again. Any one having similar issues?

I feel like the framerate is still down from before the patch. I already had everything on lowest settings. I'm going to assume there is no way to fix this.

Bioware MUST fix this. Yesterday. But they have never even wrote that they knew about the problem. For me now the game is unplayable. Thx for this "perfect" patch Bioware.

Soooo...having some odd performance issues that I can only think are DAI related.

Long story short; BF gets new GPU, his CPU is lower than mine and RAM is the same.  He's getting 30ish FPS on high settings on DAI prior to patch 2.  I'm excited about that because my GPU sucked hard.  I previously had a GT 430 and was getting 15-20 FPS on low settings.  Patch 2 didn't change anything for me.  No new problems, no fixes for my existing problems.

Fast forward.  Boyfriend surprises me with the same card he got.  Yay!  GT 730.  I know, it's not amazing, but it's a huge jump for me.  Try skyrim.  50-60 FPS on high settings.  Yay!  Try ArcheAge. 5-60 FPS on highest settings.  Yay!  Try DAI...20-25 FPS on lowest settings.  Same thing on medium.  Go to high and it turns into a slide show.  Fiddle with every single setting.  Change resolution.  Windowed.  Full screen.  NOTHING matters.  Holding at 20-25 FPS.  In battle, out, staring at a wall, doesn't matter.

Anyone else having an experience like this?  For the record, CPU is AMD FX 6300 6 core 3.5 , 8 gig RAM.

I know it's not the biggest issue here but I want my scars back!

Turn your meshes on high.  Facial details are located on the mesh.  With meshes any lower than high, you will not see them.

Well, it's slightly alarming that there has been little to no word on anything in the last few days.  Neither here, nor on Twitter.

It's Dec. 12th.  And basically, none of us know what the agenda is at this point.  Long or short term.

How much are they devoting to the current situation, where many people still have major gameplay issues.  Do they intend to follow up on the promises of Scylla Costa in that pre-patch blog entry?  if so, when?  This year, or 3-6 months down the line?  With Christmas approaching, it would seem now is the time to put some "finishing touches" on what many who have yet to start playing expect from this company, for this franchise.  Otherwise, as someone noted, this forum, AHQ, and Twitter are going to flood with angry customers, many of them pc users.

So what's the latest Bioware?  Where are we at?

A few days is alot better than the silence we were facing before. Besides I'd rather they bury their faces in the coming patch than coming online to post as of this moment.

Though it must be said again - they need a Josephine to liaison with fans and to dig up the info we need from the technical team.

I'm having a lot of stuttering. I feel like they changed the engine so that when the game can't keep up the framerate, rather than slightly dropping the game speed (resulting in a smooth game but feeling of slow motion in some areas), it now drops the framerate, so everything gets really choppy. This is jarring from a players perspective, and I much preferred it the way it was, even if it meant I was slow-motion walking through Redcliff and other heavily populated areas.

I'm generally having a pretty unpleasant gameplay experience because of this change.

I also noticed I also seem to have the "Hit "ConceptMenuAlt" in the tutorial popups bug, as well.

Uuugh. So the first time this patch rolled around I was so pleased. I didn't care that I had shiny hair; for the first time I started this game IT RAN SMOOTHLY. Everything was BEAUTIFUL! Now, after this latest patch, things are back to being almost as terrible as before. I have faith that the team is doing everything they can to fix this and I'll do my best not to be such a pissbaby about it. I'm just wondering if there's anything I can do on my end to get it back to the way they had it the first time they made the patch. I'll live without scars or freckles; everything else was PERFECT.

Do I sound as desperate as I think I do?

Well, this is discouraging: Other than not much liking the UI (for all the mouse/keyboard reasons discussed to death here), I was actually having no significant problems with the game in 71 hours of play - none of the glitches reported in the forums, no need to crank down graphics quality, etc. Making good progress, enjoying exploring the world, not dying too often once I got my party built up and got used to how things work.

Then I installed the patch, which took ... a long time (I don't have the zippiest high-speed Internet). But it eventually finished, I launched the game, everything seemed as normal ... and about 10 minutes in, the screen went black (no DA logo thingy down in the bottom right corner or anything) and then eventually quit.

I've tried relaunching. I get a black screen with a cursor and the spinny circle for a few minutes and then the dreaded "This program has stopped working..." Win7 error message and the program shuts down. The game simply won't launch.

I'm running Win 7 Home Premium (fully updated) on a fairly high-end system with dual HDs, 16 GB of RAM, and AMD FX™-8320 eight-core processor. All drivers up to date.

I've tried rebooting, I've looked for unusual messages in the game logs, and am not seeing anything that indicates what the problem might be.

Suggestions, other than uninstalling the game completely and starting over from scratch? I'd hate to lose my character and my progress ...

I noticed that as well, I just figured it had something to do with the key rebinding that I was doing.

I haven't been able to transfer my saves between PCs.

Obvs, I found the saves here, but a simple copy paste doesn't seem to do it. Any more advice?

(PS. I'm not the person you were talking to, but I have save issues.)

Damn!  I would have thought that would have done it.  Not having a reliable/safe way to backup save files is a PC gaming sin.  I know origin has cloud storage, but I really wouldn't want to rely on that.
