I may be doing something wrong. (But I'm going away from home for a month and need to take my - gaming- laptop.)

For some reason, I haven't had any cloud saves at all. Origin is connected and all while I play on my home PC but it always says that cloud saving has failed. Idk why.

I simply put the local saves in the right folder on my laptop but nothing.

Dunno.

left click the origin symbol top left hand corner and select application settings. Second from the bottom of the general tab you should see Cloud storage and below that a box that says "enable cloud saves for all supported games" check that box if you want to use cloud saves.

Edit: another thing you can do if you have a thumb drive or something portable like that is to create a file on the thumb drive and name it say DAI saves. Then go to MyDocuments\Bioware\Dragon Age Inquisition\save copy all the .DAS files and put them into the folder you created on the thumb drive. Then put the thumb drive in your laptop and copy all the .DAS files into your MyDocuments\Bioware\Dragon Age Inquisition

\save folder on your laptop.

Origin cloud saves are enabled. They are just failing for some reason.

Aye, the second thing is what I tried.

But cheers.

Now I can't see Gatt during Iron Bull's quest. I just appear to be staring out longingly into the distance, enjoying the dead silence instead of dialogue.

Super.

My main annoyance with the latest update is the ad for multiplayer which is placed in the main menu. It's ugly, I'll never play multiplayer so not interested and it doesn't even get removed if you actually try out multiplayer. :(

Does not even get removed if you play multiplayer I've been playing multiplayer for a few days with some friends and still have the message on the main menu  :crying:

I can only play on weekends. Spend the first one having CTD on dialogs/cutscenes and the only "solution" was using lower graphics.
Now I was almost finishing the game, and after patch I cant play because graphics are stuttering all the time, no matter what I do. The command line fix doesn´t work  Changing graphics options doesnt seem to do anything. Thanks a lot for ruining this game for me.

I have a problem with the patch 2. Before installing the mainstream game without a problem . There were only a game jam during the talks , but generally not zaczęsto . After installing the patch the game has problems starting . I click on the icon every moment of the game and she did not want to run . Only after about 10 events will turn the game. Even trying to turn on the origin fails. In addition, every moment jams occur during the talks .

Mam problem z patchem 2.

Luckily I have not downloaded patch 2 yet, since seeing the backlash I've simply disconnected my internet every time I want to play DAI :)

I was playing not so badly before the patch but now the game crashes after about a minute.

I am a long time fan of DA but this is intolerable.

Bioware have already confirmed they don't check these forums or anything you read.  This is the only thing they check http://answers.ea.co...p/DAInquisition.

My game runs perfect @ 1440p

The quests work good .. the tactical camera is okay ... and the game world, otherwise ridiculously good looking. I even get banter every day and all...

Just a random positive post, eh??

The BioWare developers are not ignoring the forums.  I don't know what some of these posters are expecting.  Daily updates?  A begging pleading apology for everything, beyond the sincere apology he (and other developers) have given for the bugs and issues?

FFS, look at the date on this post.

Hey everyone,

The hotfix for Patch 2 on PC is now live. Thanks for all your patience on this, we appreciate it.

Considering that this was posted three days ago, and Conal has been posting quite a bit in several threads in this section throughout the last 3 weeks or so, might want to calm down a bit.  Three days and he spent much of that day responding to questions.  As well trying to remind folks to remain civil instead of picking each other apart.  You probably shouldn't get offended that the man might be actually doing his job of trying to get some of these issues resolved instead of constantly posting.

And don't even start with this, "If he had done his job in the first place" bullshit.   If anyone truly thinks a developer of any software isn't going to have patches after the release of a product, then they are really imposing willful ignorance on themselves.

They aren't ignoring the forums at all.  If you really want a sample of that, go have fun in the battle.net forums.  For any Blizzard game.  Then count the blue posts, which are the ones that come from mods, devs and PR reps.  Ignore the green texted ones; those are forum MVPs and do not work/speak for Blizzard.  Then count the blue posts that directly come from their developers, and not just the forum community managers or from their PR department.  That's a company whose developers have lost all interest in even attempting to interact with their fans.

If you don't believe Conal, or any of the other developers, then you're probably never going to believe anything that anyone from BioWare says, and thus, you are wasting your time anyways.

Edit: I am by no means blind to the issues and bugs.  I have given criticism to BioWare in the past and I still do so with some of the design choices.  I have a list of gripes, including the crappy PC controls.   However, why don't some of you guys just let these men and women do their jobs instead of demanding that they post on the forums constantly?

I love seeing posts like this because it means there is at least *some* configurations that might actually play without incident.

I personally don't feel like starting until I can do a few basic things (mouse nav, mouse buttons mapped, etc), but it's good to know that I should be able to self-diagnose issues.

However, you posting a positive post is not a bad thing, but will be viewed negatively by those having problems.  That's just how it is, which is a good thing because the issues that exist need to stay prominent.  I hope you remain around so you can help troubleshoot these things with posters.

It's not like the people here have anyone else to help them right now...

Another random positive post here, my game ran fine before the patch and is running fine after the patch.  This problem that people are experiencing is indeed strange given the disparity in people's experience across a wide variety of system configurations.

For reference, I run windowed full screen, did not use Keep, do not connect to DAI servers, Origin is OffLine.

Hardware specs:

i7-2600K @ 3.4Ghz

16 GB Ram

Win7/64

GTX580 3GB (Driver 344.11)

I run Ultra Meshes and textures with all else set to at least High.  Game delivers 25-55 fps depending on the situation at 1080.  No object pop up that I have noticed.  Banter is frequent.

I sure hope BW can get this fixed up for you folks soon, it will be rather interesting to know what the issue(s) actually is.

True, however, the more people that are not having issues post their configs the more we all know about what seems to work.  Sooner or later a pattern is bound to emerge.

We are hoping they are looking at the giant bug thread that was posted in feedback and suggestions. There are a ton of bugs still out there on the console systems like texture popping, audio issues, and game freezes. Not to mention the overheating issue on the Xbox 360 and PS3 systems due to being unable to install the second disc of the game to the hard drive which many of us believe will solve a lot of issues straight up if BW patches that ability into the console games.

Direct link to the bug thread.

have you tried 344.75? I noticed better stability when using that driver. I had been using .344.48 and had all kinds of CTDs and one BSOD(the first on this rig) but since installing 344.75 I've had only one crash and that was 4 or 5 days ago.
