I'm having some problems, my power has been out for a week and I just got it back so I thought I'd play some Dragon Age and it won't load my saved game.  It says I need to download the newest patch, which I can't find anywhere!  When I first started my PC Origin updated Inquisition, I assumed it was the patch but it still won't let me load my game!  I restarted my PC and still the same results.  Any help would be appreciated!  I'm jonesing for my game.  

Right click on your game in the library and check for updates just to double check it is up too date after that try and repair it and see if that fixes it, not sure if it will fix your problem but it's something to try.

Yea .... I tried to make her again today but could not get her the same look at all   and then I just stuck with it .. and 3mins into the game crashed so at this point I am just putting this game on hold until they atleast fix the crashes. Such a shame too this game is so amazing I hate to stop playing it.

I just don't believe this, yesterday DA:I started to run perfectly fine for some reason and today it stutters again. 

 

You've got something going on in the background that's causing that stuttering, I would wager.  If you're not stuttering consistently it's not your system + DA:I.  This is actually a good thing for you.  You'll have to track down what's up - it could be anything from AMD's Raptr shtuff to the Windows weather gadget, unfortunately.

It is fourth week after the game release and male elf model is still broken. I was hoping to hear some good news, patch arrival news.

Thanks for the patch and hotfix. Everything works fine for me, and what I really find useful is that the items are shown in the minimap after activating the radar! That really improves the usability of the radar as now I know immediatly if there is something interesting nearby apart from that ladder that I already know is there

Patch 2 installed and running on the Xbox One. Three points immediately observable after running around in the Plains and Glades:

1) Noticeable increase in background music presence.
2) The enhanced radar blips from searching are functional and wonderful.
3) Graphics are stable and, as far as I can tell thus far without cutscenes, unchanged.

Great to see Bioware fix Cullen's fricking hair in cutscenes.....now if they could just fix the bug where Cullen goes missing from Skyhold that'd be great......

Fascinating. According to BSN, the patch, and especially the PC hotfix, didn't fix the game at all, and may have actually made it worse. Since I have no experience with the game, I don't know if these are legitimate claims, or typical exaggerations from a fanbase that is determined to be offended by everything that BioWare does.

PC update has had reported issues. Console updates seem to be fine.

Any ETA on a patch 3 to help finish fixing PC issues? I'm guessing around another month or so. ( not trying to sound like an a**) I just want too know how long I have to put this game up on the shelf and let is be until it's fixed for me, also Conal you need a profile picture lol

Still they havent bloody fix stuttering/ freeze for the PC Bloody unbelivable cant play the damm thing but they got my money tho.

It would be appreciated if anyone could tell me if they're having the same issues as I am, random CTD without any message (every 10 min or so), sometimes it results in a BSoD with various reasons. I've tried everything and couldn't get it to work. Also if anyone could tell me if Bioware is aware of these bugs. The computer I'm playing on is a week old,everything is updated and I'm above the recommended specs.

So, I come back here every few days, to "Show only Bioware posts". Surely there will be updates or input for us?

 

The first actual bug to be "announced", from 18th of Nov. In its own tweet nonetheless, with a promise of "when" it was going to be fixed. This is such a blatant lie;

Tactical view force-centering when switching party members is a bug and will be addressed in the next patch. Continuing to monitor feedback.

What AO setting do you use? HBAO+ / HBAO / SSAO or off?

 

Using HBAO+ or HBAO setting causes CTD's for me atleast so maybe try SSAO or Off setting and see if that helps

I didn't touch the graphical settings, they've been set to automatic. The game runs smoothly and over 60 fps, so I've never fiddled with them as I saw no need...for the 10 minutes that I've played.   I don't really want to lower the settings because my PC can more than handle the game that's why I posted here to see if I'm doing something wrong or is that a problem for someone else. I'm currently re-downloading the game so we'll see. My friend who is also playing the game has absolutely no problems and we have the same specs down to the case.
