I have random game crashes, but mostly when i want to view the war table. And the never ending black loading screen.

The game barely wants to use more than 2gb ram (not vram), it's always caching, characters, trees, houses, mountains pop out of the blue.

In inventory changing characters is slow as hell, yet it is loaded from ssd.

Yes the almighty scrolling thru characters in inventory loading hell actually made me ditch Sera, Vivienne and Cole to cut down the loading times. In the year 2014! Yaye!

Same here. Only on War table and during cutscenes.

I'm guessing this isn't what Laidlaw and Darrah had in mind as people were constantly tweeting and jizzing over how fun and interesting the companions were...

Have not heard from BioWare since the middle of December.  I hope you are near a solution for the Graphs problems with the Nvidia graphs card.  Having to redo cut scene a couple of times is very annoying.

PC here with:

Radeon 7770 gpu

fx-6300 six core amd CPU

8GB ram

Win 7 + DAI in my SSD drive with 140GB free

Come to think about, so do my inventory characters. When you scroll forward then back, I don't see the reverse character loading sequence. Seems random for some reason. And, really, long loading time for nine characters ? This must be bad code!!!

I wonder if they are decoding compressed meshes when loading from an inventory menu?

 So much fun with DAI

Companions' banter fun and interesting? Whoever said this was smoking something.

While on Quests:

Solas

so far, is as dry as an apricot, whenever he opens his mouth.

Cassandra

Bless her, smart, has a cause and comes across as a military martinette. Tries to be flexible and understanding.  Shows compassion at times.

Varric

Is still Varric

Vivi

Prude with her nose in the air. Forgets her farts are as smelly as everyone else's.

Dorian

Has a certain joie de vivre. Not boring at all

Sera

Unsophisticated, but street smart. Learned to survive in a tough world. Needs a speech therapist.

Bull

Typical hack and slash guy. Not an intellectual by any standards. Not sure why he's a spy

Blackwall

Seems bent or redeeming himself with a cause. Took up the Warden burden. Not an intellect either

Cole

Invisible.

I have not yet encountered juicy banter, gossip or something of "interest".  Maybe I need to play some more and mix the party up.

Do you mean your game crashed/freezes during cutscene? May I know your GPU and also, check out my post at page 179 which help me fixed the crashed/freezes in the game especially during cutscene, you can try the method too to see if it helps you :)

Actually, my money is on the engine being the culprit. Frostbite is just not made for non-FPS games. Although BiowarEA made modifications, I suspect it will be some time yet before it actually is flexible enough for more genres. Sure, they made it work. Somewhat. But there is a difference between "working" and "performing adequately".

I do not agree with the comments about Bull at all. Sure he´s no a genius, but he´s far, far more inteligent than he seems. Yes he enjoys violence and mayhem, but he feels like a "rational tornado" most of the time.

I started seeing the long character loading thing in the Inventory UI, after Patch 2 in which they added the feature to allow for KB&M users to rotate characters.

LOL!!

I rarely use him. I have my favorite team with me 80-90% of the time. On occasion, I switch one character to "stimulate" banter. Sometimes it works and somtimes not.

Anyway, the game does not need 9 companions to finish the main story arc.... at least so far as Wicked Eyes is concerned.

Hmm... the feature already existed in the CC. I would think the rotation ability is on the fly animation and not a fixed mesh. I say this because the first character popping up in the Inventory has no lag time.... But, you are right. It was "introduced" with Patch 2.

Shoddy coding. No surprise.

Btw, why is this patch called ''patch 2''? Where is the ''patch 1''? Ok, you mean ''day one'' patch that nobody have ''seen'' and there is no any changelog for it? Or it is just for press to show that there is a ''real support'' with ''patch 1, patch 2''...

P.S. Skyrim was also buggy but at least after almost two months after release Bethesda published 3 patches plus day one patch so called patch 1. The same goes for The Witcher 2. Overall Steam games are updated much more often.. And yes those two games was also very good games (even GOTY too lol), but that does not mean bug free. So grab the money and forget? Maybe they are working on DLCs instead of patches, so they can make more money lol

P.S.2. The most flustrating bugs for me are quest bugs, animations bugs, floating characters (especially at Skyhold) and overall HUD/UI design for PC :-/

But they still have cake to eat up, and after that they need to reboot the mainframe and turn on the lights.

Let me help you out there. 'Now if we just jiggle this wire and bang it a few times against the wall - HELLO? Anyone? - okay, that didn't work either'.  Don't worry, don't worry - they'll have plenty to say when they are about to release - the first dlc, not to mention all of the Origin pop-ups rubbing salt in the wound.

Sigh. (Start/Control Panel/Programs and Features/Dragon Age Inquisition/Uninstall = Hmm...)

Edit:

Hey, I think I just found my new username = 'Start/Control Panel/Programs and Features/Dragon Age Inquisition/Uninstall' = Too much?

Adding to my growing list of issues..

-Every, single, time i use the respec necklace, my game freezes 3-5 seconds later.. i tried at lvl 3,7,9, and 11... its 100%

-Multiplayer.. after lvling up, and gaining a new ability, it doesnt usually show up on your ability bar once inside the match.. This most recent time, ALL 4 of my abilties were gone, forcing me to quit the match..

-insanely long loading screen, or infinite load screens.

-Still DirectX crashes (however random) in both multiplayer, and single player (ty for that btw.. At the end of my 1st Dragon Kill.. He had a sliver i HP remaining)

-Just about everything in Multiplayer really.. Nothing works quite often.. 1 player advancing far ahead of the group, pretty consistantly causes the entire match to glitch out.. Meaning all enemies go invisible, as well as portions of the environment.. Sometimes all the walls, sometimes some walls, sometimes portion of floor, etc.. Regardless, it renders the match null, and we lose all that time spent..

-falling through the floor in single player, to an infinite fall/standup animation

-crafted items appearing in my inventory, but not in the crafting list when i want to apply them to the weapons they belong too (thx for those rare ingredients lost)

-sounds crashing or colliding over one another when in the wilderness, and near a stream (music, wildlife, and running water really dont seem to be able to coincide. they fight for the lead instead, lewavign a crackling, speaker blown sound)

- uhh.. Theres mroe ive listed previously, i dont want to continue to reiterate.

It would be ncie to go back to a time when ample time, and effort were put forth PRIOR to release, to polish a product your selling us.. I feel like a beta tester for AAA titles mroe often than not anymore.. some indie titles i can forgive this, but you have decdes of experience, with a financial backing that is unrivaled! SHAME!!!

Edit: "A PC game, for pc players, by PC PLAYERS"  huh? This is ranking pretty high on the bad console to pc ports of alltime... Oh, and while im at it.. Thanx for including the last gen consoles in the mix as well.. Really made this a real "next gen" experience.. pfft.. As if console porting wasnt bad enough, we have to dewal with a game that had to be tuned down to ps3/360 capability...

I am beginning to think there won't be a patch 3 any time soon. I didn't even get to play the game because I can't waste the time on a bugged out bad port. I was really looking forward to it too. Maybe sometime (next 6 months?) there will be a patch 3 that makes the game worth the time?

I don't think there is going to be a patch 3 at least for PC controls, for one thing the current controls are ideal for multiplayer.

I'll take EA/Bioware's word for it that there will be, but either way, time will tell. I wager multiplayer for the game is already dead, there's little to no discussion on it and it's a silly concept anyway for DA:I players.
