7th week of game in released state in upon us. During these 7 weeks only little part of the game was fixed, male elf models are still broken-glued, people experience multiple crashes and quest bugs. There is no communication with BioWare, no updated, nothing except for 70' propaganda of success in the form of constant Game Of The Year celebration. GOTY ha-ha-ha-ha

During these 7 weeks, new-additional armours for multiplayer got their release. Not to mention how fabulous the old one looked.

Singleplayer high end gear summed up by Zered:

Conclusion: december free DLC has been released during holidays season to encourage you to spend your money on microtransactions. Don't you dare want good looking armours for singleplayer!

Heh you REALLY are obsessed with the male elf model aren't you?

Then again I don't blame you, I was just as obsessed with a freakin walk button, until it got modded :P

Maybe you may have to find a similar solution ->

With DAI tools you can extract resources now right? All we need is someone who can edit the skeleton and find the bug.

Importing the skeleton back in though, not sure if it's possible... yet

I loathe botched jobs. How can GOTY have one of the main races destroying immersion during its most important moments: cutscenes. It is ridiculous, they promised us good looking elvhes, baited with Solas and his unique widening,Sera and her human model(yes, she has female human body) and face of an elf that can't be recreated in the character creation: http://img2.wikia.no...Hero-Models.jpg

It borders madness. Unfortunately there is no fan fix yet (second link provides many models extracted) and to be honest I'm expecting BioWare to do their job proprly.

It is a new low.

I don't think there is going to be a patch 3 at least for PC controls, for one thing the current controls are ideal for multiplayer.

For another thing, the PC controls work very well ...

And I agree with the other user who considers multi player sort of a moot point. I'm not even slightly interested in it ...

You may not be but Electronic Arts is ... folks spend real money ... and that of course is of tremendous interest to EA.

Bluescreen are often hardware or driver problems. Download "WhoCrashed", and the next time you have a BS, reboot the PC and open WhoCrashed when Windows is ready. WhoCrashed will analyse the last BS and tell you what is the origin of the problem.

Thanks for the tip, but at a rate of one blue screen every four years, downloading software to diagnose the problem next time I have one is a bit of a stretch. I'll keep your suggestion in mind in case the issue becomes chronic. At this point though I'm just taking it as one more sign that my PC really hates DAI (and possibly the new AMD driver).

I'm surprised they neglected to fix the Dorian personal quest bug, aka the one which prevents you from actually getting to do them.

Is that the one where the inn is empty?

If so, have you tried entering the inn alone as Dorian?

Found that solution on a PS site/forum and it worked for me on PC.

Pretty sure it's the one where the conversation about the letter regarding Felix never fires (meaning his entire quest chain is inaccessible), no matter how much approval you get from him.

People have come up with various steps to try to avoid the issue (it mostly seems to involve reloading in Haven and hoarding approval from him so that you can get the conversation almost as soon as you reach Skyhold), but there's no way to actually correct the issue once it's occurred.

Collecting goty awards is hard work. Patching? Pffff they've got your money. We can qq all we want they simply don't give a crap at this moment. No communication, no info. :P Ah well, just a little more and the Witcher and is out, they at least handle their community with a bit more respect.

Guess good old Bioware died with ME2 -_-

I'll take EA/Bioware's word for it that there will be, but either way, time will tell. I wager multiplayer for the game is already dead, there's little to no discussion on it and it's a silly concept anyway for DA:I players.

Is there a way to tell how many total are playing MP at any given time?

How come I can't map pause to mouse button 4 then?

PC controls work very well for a mindless ****** mediocre action-game. No trolling is intended. Or is it?

Yes, the PC controls do work well- in the sense that they perform the function intended when pressing the assigned button. The problem with the PC controls is that they are poorly mapped and not well thought out in terms of what works for players and what will end up giving them carpal tunnel after a mere 100 hours.

You know ... I forgot about that as I was a bit put off myself when first starting the game and found myself unable to map pause to the space bar, which was something I was completely conditioned to use since it was a standard for me in Origins; I remember being slightly irked that I couldn't do that mapping ...

But then I just decided to deal with it and start playing, and now I don't even notice ...

Just a personal annoyance for me, really and certainly not indicative of a "broken" game or controls ... such a trivial thing is easy for me to adapt to as a player ... seems second nature, really ...

But as far as maneuverability, navigability of the landscape and player movement/actions, etc.? It's every bit as good as Origins and in some regards, even better ...

Odd ... I mapped pause to spacebar.  That was my first key rebind.  Maybe this was fixed in one of the patches?

I mapped it to left ALT, easier to reach with the thumb on the fly. I found it too awkward to hit left CTRL with my pinky. :P

I could be mis remembering the exact situation but I do remember not being able to map a certain key to a certain button and that it irked me ...

Regardless, such issues are minor quibbles at best for me and so I just carry on and adjust ...

Yea, who cares about inferior quality, especially when it's from the same exact company who did it right in the previous titles of the same series of games? Who cares about the money spent for that gaming mouse? It isn't like EVERY OTHER GAME out there right now allows this natively or anything...

Just "deal with it" and don't make a fuss, like a good little lemming.

I refuse reading any more of this kind of bullsh!t.

The time i wasted on this forum is probably more than i wasted playing this **** fully consolized mmo-style skyrim simulator. Game only made me realize WoW and Guild Wars 2 has better single player content which i still cant comprehend how could happen. Doesnt matter. A patch wont make this into a tactical rpg.

Dont play this **** out of buyer's remorse, its not worth it and remember never ever preorder anything from these f*/kers. Since bioware doesnt give the slightest f.k about this forum everything you post is waste, if you want to play a good game, start searching for something instead waiting for them to make a ridiculous announcement about fixes that will clearly not make this game into a the DA you were expecting.

Btw after you try garrison missions in wow the complexity of war table in inquisition will become a laughingstock.

.

Question for you. I just watched the short video you uploaded displaying the walk mod.

I noticed the other member in that thread talking about the specifics and, "that's likely how Bioware will do it", meaning when they officially add it (hopefully in the patch). My question is, as I have not read that entire thread, do you have any further info on what makes you guys think Bioware will be able to add this and other control fixes based on what 2flower or other modders have uncovered within the code?

I think this stuff is more than appropriate for this thread, btw.
