Who cares about a patch FOUR months later? Honestly, I learned my lesson. NEVER PREORDER a BIOWARE GAME AGAIN.
Buy it bugfree and much cheaper after a year.

It will even be completed with DLC-s making up for the missing content.

No game, or software in general, is 100% bug free. Anyone who thinks otherwise is going to be in for a shock.

Yeah. And that's the problem. I broke my rule I made years ago about per-orders cause I am such a huge fan of the DA universe. Only to get burned.
Stupid me. No more per-orders. Ever. And the next BW/EA game I wait a few weeks a watch the forums. Could've saved myself a lot of headaches.

I never expected DAI to be bug free. But I did expect the Tac Cam to work, or the PC controls to work - I mean, I can't even walk. On the console version you can, but not on the PC. It's a crappy PC port. Plain and simple. So much for "PC games made by PC gamers". Should've read, "PC games made by PC games who play with a gamepad".
I mean, honestly, why the hell would I use a gamepad on a pc? I'd get a PS4.

Did you ever played DAMP? Its not even in beta! Every third game is broken. You cant proceed to next map because the key is missing, OR you cant see any enemies or textures when entering the next map OR when you join a group already in a game you are stuck OR you hook yourself into the enviroment and you are stuck until the group reaches the next map. And if all those bugs dont trigger you just get a "crash to desktop" without any error msg right before the last mission leaving you without any XP for the last 20 min.
Besides the fact that the game is a cheap console port, which is a hard slap in the face to any longtime Bioware customer, and the tactical cam is the BIGGEST JOKE, THEY delivered a completly broken game and didnt fix it for SEVERAL MONTHS!
Where are the demos?
We are buying them full price now, and paying for the rest of the game in DLC.
Hell, we are even paying for beta games in Steam Access (and, apparently, some triple A games too).
And THOSE beta games are as good as, or better than, THIS beta ... and a hell of a lot cheaper too.
PoE and Torment are looking great, Grim Dawn is fantastic, and I have high hopes for Darkest Dungeon.
Find a game that interests you, back that game and get into the beta and/or early-access.
Give your feedback to developers that actually CARE about what you have to say.

The only power we really have as gamers is voting with our wallets, remember and spend accordingly in the future !
Uh I'm not reading 190+ pages so not aware exactly for what is going on there but I will say this from PS3 and XBOX360 players: Patch 2 didn't even try to fix major issues nor it fixed the issues it promised. People are still having all kinds of performance issues including crashes that create corrupted saves, black screens, lag and FPS drop, not even mentioning the severe graphical problems.
Hopefully Patch 3 does lot better since seeing how Patch 2 focused on PC (really over 20 unique PC fixes) although it's fixes didn't work that well, I'm worried that Patch 3 isn't going to even trying to fix problems on PS3 and XBOX360.
Just fix it Bioware.
No need to instigate the mods further. When you get reported again, they might not go as easy on you. Posting sarcastic or rude posts is not the way to go.
Whilst I agree with the sentiment wholeheartedly , it is easy to understand how the silence from Bioware devs and even the mods in this forum could lead to people getting angry and sarcastic.
I mean , how hard is it for someone to write "we are working on a new patch" ?
There. I just did it , took a couple of nano seconds probably - so why is it that there is silence from the devs?

KilrB, what's Grim Dawn? would you recommend it?

Rude isn't. Sarcastic is the only way to go. Aren't BW for freedom of speech?

It's an arpg from the creators if Titan's Quest.
It's in open beta now on Steam.
If you liked TQ you will love Grim Dawn.
Auto-attack Toggle with a Razer Mouse
I have a Naga Mouse (2012 version) with the Synapse utility already installed. The Scroll Wheel on this mouse is clickable. I click on the Scroll Wheel to toggle the auto-attack macro on and off.
Instructions for new users:
1. Get and install the Razer Synapse utility from http://www.razersupp...ftware/synapse/
2. Open Razer Synapse and login (razer mouse users should already have this) or create an
account then login.
Create the auto-attack macro
From the main menu:
3. Select MACROS menu from the top --> click + --> Name/Rename your macro ATDAI --> then
choose No delay
4. Select RECORD --> left click your mouse button on an empty area top left (u will see a Left Button
Up and a Left Button Down) --> STOP
5. Select Mouse menu from the top--> choose Scroll Click
6. On button assignment (top centre) choose Macro --> Assign macro ATDAI !<--- that is the
macro name I use
7. Select Playback option and Toggle continuous --> SAVE (middle - bottom of screen)
8. Launch your game then use the Scroll click to toggle auto attack
I've tested it with my archer quizzie. Everybody attacks when ATDAI is toggled on.
.
Good luck

I've been patiently following this topic, mostly waiting for a nice Bioware person to show up with a "Hey, we hear you and we're working on it", or any news about patch 3 with the promised PC UI fixes.. the game is very hard for me to get into with the controls working against me most of the time. I play to fight demons, not my keyboard and mouse.
I'm writing an article on this. I have my own thoughts about the PC controls but I'd also like to include those of you who would like your voice to go a little further than the forum. If you'd like to contribute, please quote this post and list your concerns (as long as it's civil
please don't go full ragequit on me - most of my articles are geared toward constructive criticism and not just bashing).
If you've outlined your concerns previously in this thread, you can just post a link to your prior post (upper right of your post has a post number, right click > Copy Link Address > paste it into a reply here) and specifically state that it's ok that I quote you.
Thanks, and let's see if we can get it further out there so we can get some kind of traction.
I'd like to respectfully submit all posts from:
Pen-and-Paper (explained the PR strategy used by EAWARE, a sort of PR YODA);
-Brogan (Master of the Thread and Hilarious Gifs);
-Brethgael (Aussie comedian and voice of reason);
-Lord Surinen (male elf disaster problems);
-the huge thread made by a fan on the banter bug;
- all the people on this thread;and
- pretty much all my earlier posts, since I sometimes agree with myself (Cartman influenced philosopher, legal counsel and aspiring comedian).
Enjoy!
Well, thank you Mr. D.
This is what I like to hear.

Yep, this is all he had to do and this thread wouldn't even be here.

....I have a feeling close could mean anywhere between next week and march.
God it's sad how jaded I've become. The tweet makes Mark Darrah look like Bioware has locked the patching team in a basement and he was lucky enough to get out for a few minutes and update us.

Really? I think most of the PC users here on the forums know that. What PC users expect when preordering a game is that it's at least playable. Waiting for AMD and nVidia to put out patches for their drivers AFTER the game was released is not what PC users expect. Waiting for control schemes to actually WORK without the use of a game controller is what PC users expect. Let me be sarcastic and real at the same time: PC users use a mouse and the mouse has evolved to use more than one or two buttons. DAI doesn't recognize extra mouse buttons but the first two games did. Oh Maker...

Maybe games aren't bug free but usually devs try to avoid the obvious ones and some are really obvious when you play the game.
Bugs like clipping, lagging or falling through floors even good indies games try their hardest to avoid them.
But I guess you didn't saw that magnificient decapitation from Solas in that cutscene ![]()

I still find it disapointing that they prefer to stay on their tiwtter instead of coming here.
Or at least a mod should relay the information here, imo.

Mike Laidlaw; "Sorry you don't find this cutscene game of year award material but hundreds of game reviewer sites would disagree with you. The clipping is working as intended"
