Personally? My game runs just fine. I just finished my second play through. ****** Knight Enchanter with his sword and ****. Here I was thinking I would just be a Mage but I found my self far more engaged with the sword. Hmph? Go figure, eh ?

Yes really, but thank you for the poorly directed condescending remark. I, also remember JE as well, yes it was clunky, although it did have an enjoyable tongue in check story and characters (and hey I loved the vibrant colours)... still it was a poor console port'. I am however trying to determine why the hell you mentioned JE at all, it has nothing to do with this game, unless you are referring to bindings. Which means you seem to think the bindings are fine as is, that is not the case... many functions, cannot be rebound, especially on a mouse (I'm using a macro system, I should not have to do this). Movement is wsad only (a big step backwards), looting and search functions are poorly implemented, menu system?, no right click functionality for game menus, and the merchant buy and sell turns into a click fest. What I find amusing is how a graphics over haul has hidden many of the poor aspects of this game, yes the game looks gorgeous. Myself, I miss the ability to talk to my companions in the field (now I must return to camp, like running a stop watch just to keep a breast of what's cool and what's not, their like fixed story books with no soul, and it kills the experience... especially when you are plagued by the banter bug)... it lacks quality tools, classes and features that enable a player to create his/her in game character (heaven forbid that Crpg features be added to a console game??? why not, many console players actually enjoy those elements, now it feels like a poor action game). I'll stick to my original post, and that is, this is not the BW I started following 13 years ago... this not the BW that had one of the best Dev player relationships in gaming. You can't keep giving the middle finger to a platform and think it'll be ok, business as usual. To be honest had TW3 been on time, I would of been playing it, not this game, D2 and ME3 stung.

I mentioned JE because of the poor control scheme. That should've been obvious. Then of course there is ME2 and ME3 with space does everything (and you can't rebind that to several keys either). I never said the keys weren't meh I felt the same way in JE. It was clunky as hell but playable.
People acting like this is the first game where BW has made a crappy control scheme and are pulling their hair out baffles me. Thus my mentions of other games that had a lackluster PC scheme.

Believe me I'm annoyed at the lies too.
But this isn't the first time they've done it and it won't be the last.
Asking for reasonable controls is one thing. Insisting that this is something new is quite another. The "oh BioWare you've changed!" and ignoring all the other instances of shitty controls baffles me.
Did DAO and DA2 have much better controls? Yep.
But acting like DAI is the only game that had a obviously console first scheme by BioWare? Um...huh? There's rose tinted glasses then there's willful blindness.

I can't see any thing in that above video that isn't replicated in the real world game.
I've played through twice .. first time a mage and second a rogue ... with different personal choices throughout .. and love it. It's a movie, man. A movie that the player gets to play in.

Well, I'm glad it works for you. Sincerely. You have successfully navigated capitalism and achieved a goal therein that led to a satisfactory purchase conclusion for you as both consumer and human being. The system works.
It works for me too, just not as well. It crashes. It glitches. It refuses to let me do half of its quests because it refuses to let me harvest or mine anything. Occasionally it thinks I'm playing multiplayer - even when I'm quite clearly in single player and offline - and then kicks me out of the game for my temerity. Nothing to beat the wife over, true, but frustrating nonetheless. The response to this game from the company makes it frustrating too - to me it's like going to Wal-Mart and wondering why everyone is wearing camouflage. I can see them just fine. They're not fooling anyone.
This then is the state of things.
I'm one of those freaks, see - when the game works as advertised I'll stop b!tchin' about it. I'll go do something else, like play the game.
Until then, I'm'a gonna stomp me lil' feet till them's good and flat and spit my venom at half-assed games released too soon for a fast buck and bought-and-paid-for reviews and GOTYs and at this new and rather shoddy tactic vomiting out of gaming companies lately.

That said I too have had lag and stuttering (that I didn't have before the patches so go figure).
So yeah a new patch that doesn't break more crap than it fixes would be swell.

If this thread is, as you say, non consequential I'm sure you have better things to do.... like play the game you like so much? Put another way, EA/Bioware has absolutely no reason to read your posts, since they appear to be all goody-goody.
Bioware, on the other hand, do have people that read this Patch2 thread. One reason, amongst many, is that the "good folks" at Bioware will read and say "ooops, I didn't know that was broken!".
At least I hope so.

If the fonts on PS4/xbone are as big as on PC i'd be able to fecking see them from a the other side of the town without glasses, and i'm fecking nearly blind.
