If the fonts on PS4/xbone are as big as on PC i'd be able to fecking see them from a the other side of the town without glasses, and i'm fecking nearly blind.

 I'm talking about the popup window that describes an item when you mouse over it. In my rig, the font is about three pixels high.

If this thread is, as you say, non consequential I'm sure you have better things to do.... like play the game you like so much? Put another way, EA/Bioware has absolutely no reason to read your posts, since they appear to be all goody-goody.

 

Bioware, on the other hand, do have people that read this Patch2 thread. One reason, amongst many, is that the "good folks" at Bioware will read and say "ooops, I didn't know that was broken!".

 

At least I hope so.

 

I think what Sartoz is trying to say in an extremely polite manner is....

I'm not playing the game so much, any more. Played it through twice but can't seem to get bothered by it a third time. Fun play, both times though ... I'll def say that. Cassandra's voice alone is worth the trouble .. (sigh) .. and I still haven't gotten Josephine in the sack yet.  **** me, man that girl is difficult!! LOL .. Fun game. You should play it .. :-) ...

I'm not playing the game so much, any more. Played it through twice but can't seem to get bothered by it a third time. Fun play, both times though ... I'll def say that. I'm in the same situation. Probably gonna come back when banter is fixed + first SP DLC is released + bunch of other small **** they will probably mess with.

 

Still loved my first playthrough. Just can't play now without feeling like im burning myself off the game before i can even access all of it.

Hey Everyone, you can find an update on the upcoming Patch 3 for PC here. It contains fixes for the multiplayer key drop issue and a change to the banter system to make it less random and prevent unintended long instances of silence. it also now has keybinding to walk on PC and a number of other tweaks and changes.

I'll provide more updates when I can.

From a development standpoint, Patch 3 was a small, bug-fix only patch to address some high-frequency issues affecting the majority of our players.

General

Added key binding that allows players to walk.

Added mouse cursor scaling.

Fixed issue that could result in the mouse getting stuck in mouse-look mode when players alt-tabbed out of the game in full-screen mode.

Fixed display bars to correctly reflect items that alter maximum health.

Single-Player

Changed party banter system to be less random to prevent extra-long periods where no conversations would occur.

Fixed issue that could result in one of Dorian’s conversations not being available for some players.

Fixed issue that could result in a cutscene not firing for Dorian’s plot when players enter the Gull and Lantern.

Fixed issue that could result in Sera’s Verchiel plot being broken.

Fixed issue with the demon that could spawn during Solas’s personal quest.

Changed Tactical Camera so that it no longer re-centers when the player changes party members.

Fixed exploit that allowed for infinite influence.

Fixed issue that allowed players to exploit their gold value in single-player mode.

Fixed allied mage AI so they did not dispel targets that the player had frozen.

Fixed issue that caused the bar displaying armor rating to not update correctly for crafted gear.

Fixed issue that caused extra potions granted by items to be lost when players return to Skyhold.

Fixed issue that caused Mind Blast’s upgrade, Fortifying Blast, to not provide additional barrier.

Fixed issue that could result in the opt-in conversation UI continuing to be displayed if players opted out very quickly as the UI was starting to be displayed.

Fixed issue that could result in the world map being permanently displayed in the Storm Coast.

Fixed issue that could result in being unable to switch party members after looting.

Fixed issue that could result in party members not following orders to revive a party member in Tactical Camera mode.

Fixed issue that could result in people being unable to discover all the regions in the Exalted Plains.

Fixed issue that could cause dragons to become unresponsive.

Fixed issue that would cause dragons to freeze during their roar.

Fixed issue that could cause some conversations to be “hitchy.”

Fixed issue that could cause Varric’s legs to do odd things in some opt-in conversations.

Fixed Masterwork Prowler Armor so it no longer distorts on certain characters.

Fixed issue that could cause Harmon to disappear in certain circumstances.

Fixed a few non-herb crafting materials that were showing up in the Herbs section of the inventory. They are now correctly in the Other section.

Multiplayer

Enabled push-to-talk functionality in the multiplayer end of match screen.

Enabled push-to-talk in the multiplayer armor upgrade menu.

Fixed issue where changing multiplayer match settings would take effect without confirming changes.

Fixed issue that could result in players entering multiplayer matches without any mapped abilities in certain circumstances.

Fixed case that could cause keys to not drop in multiplayer mode.

Fixed issue that would cause the potion mapped to the first slot to also be used when pushing the 9 key in multiplayer mode.

Fixed issue that would cause the camera to spin at the end of a multiplayer match and not display the end of match screen.

Fixed issue in multiplayer mode that would result in the healing portion of Rampage to stop working in certain circumstances.

Tuned Strength of Spirits to be more useful in multiplayer mode.

Tweaked the balance of the Demon Commander in multiplayer mode.

Fixed issue that could result in items not displaying their cards when chests are opened in multiplayer mode.

Fixed issue that could cause pots to respawn in certain circumstances in multiplayer mode.

 

An absolutely pathethic list, just as I would have predicted. No wonder BW sent you as a messenger boy because they've all but abandoned this forum for fear of crucifixation.

 

Ah well, at least the BW fanboys will enjoy... uh, erm... mouse.. scaling? Yeah, great. Think I'll keep playing FFXIV.

It rather small I agree.. but at least its something.  They would be wise to post a whats coming thread soon and a lose time frame for it.  Thing is though that key dropping bug should of been hot fixed across all ports of the game.  At least the PC crowed gets it but that one bug has made me stop even playing multi player.

Well, I'm actually pretty content with those patch notes, it's in line with my expectations if the patch is going live before the end of the month (as it looks like it will)

 

This amounts to about 4 weeks of work, give or take - and it is certain that the developers are working on more things in tandem, this is just what is ready to ship, so to speak.

yeah fits my expectations too, but its really just the bottom of them. hoped for a little positive surprise but.........nope

It's also clear that multiplayer is their  #1 priority, over pc controls, Dx errors, etc.

Well, to be fair, DX errors are just as bad for the MP-crowd (all 3 of them) as well ;)

I belive most crashes,dx errors etc are coused by Origins, let me elaborate:

I am Polish and bought the game while I was in UK, i was quite suprised that game have regional language blocked and becouse cd-key is locked to UK region I was able to play only in English so ok I thought. I had few DX errors in 2 h of gameplay so I started to look for a fix, i did not find any fix for it, though i found a way to play in my language. There is a program called Outcome and It lets you play EA games without Origin running at all.

 

Obviously you won't have any multiplayer(Which is not my thing anyway in this game) but I just updated my world state from Keep, run Otcome and Bam! I can play in my native language(subtitles only thank god) and through my 27h playthrough so far not even a small crash, game runs just perfectly on max settings with MSAAx2, that is far better than AC: Unity with their +7gb patch

Sound bugs like banter or no/short bursts of music still exists though
