I really feel for all those that have suffered the bug in party banter. As I had stated elsewhere, I happily am not one of those unfortunate souls. Post patch, my fear is realised.........I demand duct tape be added to the game! In fact, I think duct tape can fix the game! It can fix ANYTHING!
In reality, with the exception of a few issues with plot progression, the game has run fairly well for me. I expect some stuttering and long load times due to my system barely meeting requirements. After doing a few things on my end, my computer freezing at the exact spot multiple times cleared up. Found a broken registry key, and found out my cpu's o/c wasn't working properly, fixed those two issues and game was quite playable.
After the patch, I now know that I WAS in fact suffering bugs with music, but, what I didn't know didn't kill me. Now I have loads of music and I travel with a basket of chatty cathys.
I know I'm just lucky in what I've got. It does not excuse the huge fiasco DA:I is. I do wonder, however, did anyone at EA even TEST this game on a PC? I know computers were used to code it, but did they actually PLAY it? From all the complaints, I don't think so. I do understand that bugs take or should take some time to be discovered, and then time to analyze and fix. Okay, so it was the holidays. And I know those pre Christmas sales gotta look sweet come your FY end, but, a small bit of patience go a very long way, a more finished game would've been greatly appreciated.
If it ever gets fixed, however, I move for future DLC content free of charge, exclusive to PC players. (I know, I know, "in your dreams")
