Thanks. I've seen it. IMO, we can expect many, many more games like this. EA's stated policy of MP-in-everything is bearing fruit and it's costing the SP 'experience', at least in the so-called AAA games. Games have become a disposable money grab modality. MP uber alles. You make money through ridiculously priced 'chests' and microtransactions and don't have to hire losers like writers. Point-shoot-'that's-not-what-yer-mam-said-last-night"-teabag-buy-the-next-shiny-bullet/pointless-gun-skin-repeat. Moola in the bank. It's reality television with a controller.
As long as marketing lies are more profitable than actual product quality, this is what we get and will continue to get. I ain't even mad, simply because this comes as absolutely no surprise.
I'd say 'vote with your wallet', but people aren't going to do that. If ME3, DA2, Watch Dogs, Destiny, AC:Unity, now DA:I and a dozen other crud-from-the-get-go games hasn't convinced anyone, nothing will.
I'm really glad I have hobbies.
