The jokes are great to lighten the mood, but do you guys every consider a large reason why they don't take as much feedback is becasue 90% of the posts in these feedback threads are either jokes about how dumb and incompetent bioware is, or criticsms including jokes or insults about how dumb and incompetent they are.

Yes, of course I do. Everytime Conal has posted something about patch notes or progress you'll notice most of the people who reply directly (including me) do it this way: we thank him for communicating, we comment the fixes as positive and ask when next patch will come. Few people are beligerant towards him, who has the guts and takes the time to talk to us.

 

Then you'll see the rest of posts are of the forum users commenting on bugs, making jokes, some rants... But honestly do you think that's the cause for the lack of interaction? I've tweeted respectful questions to Mike, Mark and Bioware about the game controls. 0 replies. The only tweets they reply are 'u guy are awesome, love the game'. This is not us bullying them, it's them ignoring the problems. Any personal attack is out of place, but jokes or critics as long as they're civil is reasonable.

Sooo, is this suppose to be "lose something, win something" politic, that BW now embraces? I lost part banter, but I can do Measuring the Veil war table quest, which never showed up for me before?

Before Patch 3, I got banter a little more frequently.  Now I have the Party Banter Bug.  My group just has nothing to say to each other.  The silence in the Western Approach is soul draining.  I've tried switching up the party members. Hanging out at the camp. Resting. Reloading. Traveling back to Skyhold and returning.  No one is talking.  Not a one. 

Any chance for a return look at the Banter?  The companion chatter is one of the things I love about the DA games.

I wonder if the loss of banter due to patch 3 was due to a download error of some kind for those that patched before the Keep imports issue was corrected. I too lost all banter and, after eliminating every other reason for it, given the patch notes stated that it made banter less random, I did a clean uninstall/reinstall of the game with a fresh download. That solved the problem and, I now have good banter.

Just thought I'd do some quest tidying up before uninstalling and waiting for DLC.

Patch 3 has completely buggered my game.

I'll leave it as an exercise for you to go find out how to limit negative feedback and exasperated customers in the business world.

I think when they finally stream out a patch that fixes this issue, they should slip in a few lines from the VAs like "I can't think of anything to say right now."

Not the Nvidia 345.27 driver. I am running that driver on my Titans and, no problems. I did have to do a clean uninstall/reinstall to get banter working post patch but, it's fine now. (I did preserve my saved games and replace them after the reinstall.) I have MSAA set to 4x as well as every other graphics setting maxed out. No crash.

 

The only reason I've seen for the r/w toggle not being listed at all in keybindings is the Nexus mod tool. Removing it solves that.

Did you used CCleaner or some programs like that to clean up everything or just uninstall/reinstall? Gonna try this since can´t find a proper solution, when i´m playing now i´m paranoid all the time thinking in the banter and not enjoying the game. No banter no party.

I still cannot log into the game via Origin unless I am offline due to the Update not wanting to update. Anyone else still experiencing this?????

I just finished a PT, after patch 3, with Morrigan having a son. In the epilogue, Kieran is missing. It's a minor quibble as I don't have other game stopping glitches but it's kind of ..

Ive posted in a few spots, but im starting a new game, the only change being that i plugged in a 360 controller, and my game is now runnign like crap.. all cinematics stutter, delay, or even freeze, or crash the pc...  Even audio, and party banter is choppy, or studdering...  Panning my camera in 3rd person is even causing fps to drop drastically, to a snails pace!  Whats happened? 

 

The game wasnt perfect before, but this is unplayable.. I have over 130hours in my 1st playthrough.. This one gave me all the above mentoned problems, in a 30 minute prologue!

 

PS: in my original playthrough (which is still not finished after 130hrs) ive never had a banter issue.. I get several every hour.. I also constantly change party members whenever i goto Skyhold, and camp, or a cave.. I speak to everyone everytime i goto Skyhold also..

I used Eusing's Registry Cleaner, that's the one I prefer and, it is free as well but does have a beg screen you need to skip if you don't wish to donate to Eusing. Before uninstalling, I copied the document/bioware/dragon age inquisition/saves folder to my desktop, uninstalled deleted the original documents folder, ran the cleaner, rebooted, downloaded and installed the game then MERGED my old saves from my desktop with the newly created saves folder.

Okay, I just downloaded this latest update, and now my game will not even run. I click "Play" via Origin, the screen goes black as if DAI is about to start, but then I go back to the desktop.

 

Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?! I've already restarted my computer. Still doesn't work.
