They have plenty of butter. Beyond that, though, I think they are working on something, and that it will contain at least some of what should've been in from the start. The real problem is the lack of communication, and that staff is engaging with the MP crowd instead of us.
The latter is more worrying. MP is an open-ended monetization of the game, and is getting communication. As for us, they have our money, and we have no communication. Not a good sign.
Pretty much the nail on the head here. You would think Bioware would want their forum representative to inform all of the dissatisfied customers (aka potential DLC buyers) that they addressed whatever concern they addressed in the latest hotfix? whatever that was. No one knows. At the very least you would think they would want to stem the tide of speculation and misinformation due to an uninformed user base.
No one knows what they are working on for DLC's. There was bad communication pre release leading to all of the discontent from buyers who feel mislead. There was no communication that the sound track would only contain score material and not the songs. There was no communication about the subsequent stealth Bard Song release, except twitter. There is no communication regarding the next wave of patches. There have been no official Bioware marketing polls for future content.
Its as if they are purposely trying to sabotage there own game. I can't remember the last I've seen a bioware representative on this board, except for the occasional ban hammer guy. If were an EA marketing boss, I'd be completely disappointed in the performance of the forum representatives for this game. Maybe the main dude is sick or something. But we are at least owed some kind of an explanation for the hot fix, and the reason for the silence.
