PS4 player here: Graphically the game is fine, but now the audio sounds like it has a bad case of the hiccups.

Wonderful. The only thing I really wanted them to fix were the freezing cutscenes during the Grey Warden quest and Cass's romance. I bet those didn't get fixed!

I haven't noticed much if any in a decrease in graphics on high/ultra, but I do notice the game running smoother!

Then you arent playing on high/ultra..

So...what I'm hearing is that PC users who haven't patched yet should stay offline from Origin, at least until this graphics issue is fixed, right?  I mean, there isn't any amazing upside to the patch that nobody is talking about, right?

 

or just disable the auto-update feature in origin settings. so you can manually update if you want to.

Did anyone have an answer for whether or not Origin downloads the latest version of the game when reinstalling? Because I would reinstall the whole damn thing to get rid of the shiny hair.

Deleting the patch folder doesn't do anything either, only makes you not able to use your savegames. And if you start a new game the hair is still shiny.

Yup hotfix is needed, and hey they still have all day for that as soon as they come back from lunch.

Remove the patch folder. It'll break save games and have no influence on the issues created by the patch.

You can spin your character with the mouse in the invetory menu...

Do not install this patch, I beg you.

Unless you had crashing issues or you were holding off on the Hawke customization because your voice would change (even then, it'd all look like ass now, so what would be the point), there's not a single thing in this patch that will provide any benefit outweighing how terrible the game looks now.

Restarting the console seems to have sorted everything. I haven't played enough to notice any significant other changes... I don't want to start Hawke's storyline until I'm certain the cutscenes are fixed >_>;
