there already WAS a loot all button, its the enter key! don't believe me, well if you on the old version of the game open a loot pile, don't press F after opening it press enter and all is picked up.

The more you know...

REALLY??? Thx ;)

Okay, good bye Patch 2!

It seems to me the hair is not the only thing which is more shiny. My Inquisitors shield, armor and weapon ... even his skin look way more reflective than before the patch.

Some of the crybaby entitlement in this thread is very disturbing.

Agreed. I'm upset by the patch, not gonna play the game until a fix is implemented because the graphics changes bother me, but I know Bioware is doing all they can. They pushed this patch out so damn quick to fix the game's launch issues, which were far better than most AAA. It was the rushing to get the patch out to meet fan demand that likely caused this issue.

Guys, they read the forums. They know there is an issue. When they've found a fix and have a reliable way to give it to us, we'll hear about it. But they can't respond to us until then.

You're welcome to be upset, annoyed, pissed off, etc. I understand. But whining about how terribly BW has screwed you over? Not really. You'll be alright.

Heres a lovely pic of my character. Take a wild gues which is from when and now.

Hair color changed, eye color changed, scars and complex is gone, the gloss is insane, and the details is poor as hell. WTF happen BioWare!.

Hotfix this please!.

Seems like they gave PC players the "Forced Xbox 360 graphics and character appearance change" function in patch 2. They forgot to mention it in the notes.

It's not really entitlement when they've handed over their hard earned money.

So...what I'm hearing is that PC users who haven't patched yet should stay offline from Origin, at least until this graphics issue is fixed, right?  I mean, there isn't any amazing upside to the patch that nobody is talking about, right?

Sonar pings show up on the minimap now.

Notable changes in the patch : Spin character with mouse, F to loot all [Previously you could also use SPACE but not F it self] , Voice push to talk key, Search Items now show up on Radar and last longer, that's kinda it.... Along with bugs like the voice switch bug.

A later product that functions correctly is always better than pushing out a product before it's finished. That goes for full games, DLC, patches or anything in between. I know that BioWare is doing what they can. Of course they are. But things like this should never happen. People can be both understanding of the situation and upset at the results, and many people here are posting legitimate issues and concerns.

Hey guys, just had a chance to test the new patch and apart for the graphics being poorer there's even more stuttering than before. Definitely something went amiss!  :(

However, I wouldn't despair about the Mesh Quality. The patch probably broke the in-game setting, but we are PC gamers, so just do the following:

1) Navigate to your "%USERPROFILE%\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\Save" folder

2) Open the "ProfileOptions_profile" file with Notepad

3) Increase the "GstRender.MeshQuality" parameter by a factor of 1.

4) Save the file, open the game and check the quality of the graphics.

5) If the meshes are not of appropriate quality again, just repeat step 3 ("4" is probably the maximum value for this setting).

I haven't tried this for myself, but given that I have Mesh Quality on "Medium" in-game and the "ProfileOptions_profile" setting was "1", I assume that we can increase it manually from there! Please check if this fixes your meshes and report back.  ;)

Wait, did they remove the save scumming exploit?  So help me god if they patched that before they patched the qunari archer animation bull****.....

Don't you know that combating "cheats" in SP is more importanting than testing to see if the patch is working as intended and you know, fixing real bugs??

This is almost funny.

I appreciate that they likely worked hard on this, I really do.

It doesn't lessen the fact that they made a complete mess of it, sadly.

You're right, I would've loved to get a later-released working product. That's what the original month delay was for. I'm just saying that it's the fan pushing for immediate solutions that likely pushed the patch to come out this early and be problematic.

Deleting the patch folder doesn't do anything either, only makes you not able to use your savegames. And if you start a new game the hair is still shiny.

This tells me that somewhere there's a file that tells the game where to look for the configuration settings - and it seems it's got the wrong path, which means it can't find the config files, which in turn defaults the game to low quality settings.

Basically, I believe we're the victim of a spelling error. This is why I subscribe to Grammarly on Facebook - never underestimate good spelling and grammar :P

Now, if someone could just find the file....

If only I waited one more hour for the patch notes... and left Origin to be offline

Worse thing is I was all "Maybe I should let other people test it out first just to be sure."

I knew I should've listened to my first instinct. I freaking knew it.

Post processing not woking anymore?

Not working, at least not at the correct settings.

Maybe if you were previously playing on low it would still look normal, but for everyone else, it's going to be abysmal. DoF and other distance effects seem reduced or missing, motion blur looks funky; I didn't look for god-rays, but I suspect they'll either be missing or fugly.
